The weird thing about all of this, is that the plans weren't much different before Finn got hurt.

 

How were they not?

 

It really hurt Seth most of all, I'd say. He was supposed to fade back, and instead, he got endless title shots and a major storyline that's hilariously unresolved.

CoC was supposed to be KO/Balor. Then HIAC was Balor/KO/Jericho. I imagine all would have been in the SS match with Roman and Seth, and so we'd probably still have been looking at Roman/Finn at Roadblock or Rumble.

 

The only way it makes sense is Braun takes the US title off Roman in the next couple of weeks. Gets Braun the title without complicating the KO/Y2J storyline which I think its a good place for it to reside (can do a bunch of interesting match possibilities with Braun holding the title going in WM). Assuming Sami is "injured", Braun is gonna need a new next target and the US title makes perfect sense.

Begs the question why even bother having last night's title match but I guess they needed to finish off Braun/Sami so its not the worst thing ever?

Still annoyed how that match ended, but there is a small amount of room to salvage it all.

According to PWInsider, Diamond Dallas Page is going to be the first name announced for this year's Hall of Fame. Totally deserved.

 

Guy is literally a life saver. Vince owes him so much.

 

I was more so asking how the plans were similar still. Didn't know of the planned matchups that were mentioned above.

 

I've been spamming my co-worker with Kenny Omega photos all day. It's pissing her off and it's great.

 

Honestly never watched NJPW except for a few matches, but dig a handful a guys on the card. Is Wrestle Kingdom worth watching even if I'm clueless on half of the card and all storylines?

WK is arguably the best show every year. Absolutely should be watching if you have the time. It's like a 6 hour show though, so you really need the time.

 

I have tomorrow off so I have time haha What are the matches you're looking most forward to or that I should be watching out for?

I'll open up event discussions in here in maybe two days or so. I just want everyone to get a chance to watch first.

as fucked up as it is i can't say im all that surprised. wasn't he deemed incompetent to stand trial not too long ago?

 

In regards to that new Network show last night, I think it could work but the format and/or panel needs to be changed. The idea of a show debating various topics could easily work, but you can't have both panelists agreeing with each other the entire time. Even worse, they both essentially teamed up against the host.

I think the best way to go about this would be to have an essentially neutral host (Tom Phillips perhaps). For the two panelists you have one from each side. You can have the 'fan' panelist (Rosenberg, Sam Roberts, etc.) and have a 'company man' panelist (JBL, Heyman, etc.). That way you are more likely to have opposing views on most subjects and the host can just be there to introduce the topics and facilitate accordingly.
