I actually preferred JBL over Heyman last night. I mean, at least JBL gave some variety to his responses. Some even came close to being thoughtful! Everything Heyman spouted out pretty much came back to the theme that the fans are stupid, they don't know anything, and they're even more dumb because they keep paying for the product.

 

yeah, for a guy who has dumb fans to thank for his success, he sure seems to hate on them a lot

 

Went ahead and ordered NJPWworld. $8.50 ain't a bad price for the best show of the year.

Does NJPWorld work like WWE Network where their on demand catalog has all of their prior events? Or at least with WK11 specifically, any idea of how long it would take to hit on demand and how long it would stay up there for?

 

You can go back and watch past events. I'm not sure how soon after airing they will be up. Gonna do some investigating. Their subreddit is pretty active with people involved with the service, so I'll look for answers there.

 

Looks like it is 'no more than a couple hours' for typical live events. With this being WK, probably a little shorter.

I wonder if Vince sees KO's reign as being successful. It's impossibly hard to gauge since he is a great wrestler who has looked like a chicken shit for 6 months. Same thing that happened to Rollins. At least the comedy has been spot on?

 

I would guess he doesn't look it it as a successful run. The Raw ratings have been bad lately (including a loss to Smackdown) and I'm sure he puts a lot of blame or praise on the champions. Not saying it's fair at all to say the poor ratings are KO's fault, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Vince leans that way.

 

I dont think Vince would blame KO for the reign not being super successful, certainly not for the ratings side of it. Though, I do think hes pushing KO to be more of a true heel the last few weeks. Last night seemed the most obvious, with the opening promo and getting DQ'd in his match.

Wonder if Vince thinks if KO's more of a true heel by the Rumble, fans will cheer for Roman

My only concern would be long-term...does Vince see KO as a guy who becomes a 3 or 4-time champ with other long reigns, or is this kind of his one and he goes back to mid-card heel champ

 

Well I mean when you have same main event for two months in a row It was only a matter of time before ratings started to teeter off

 

Last night was the perfect way to get Roman to drop the belt without looking weak. Not sure why they didn't pull the trigger there. The setup for the match was convoluted, but really could have worked.

 

That and the show ending have me basically 100% convinced Roman is taking the belt at the Rumble. Probably while holding the US title.

Not pulling the trigger clearly isnt working, and they are hurting a lot of their main card guys in the process. Give Roman the 2 months to WM to sink or swim and then go from there

 

Raw is so bad it's the same shit every week anymore. Feel bad for all the wrestlers.
