Honestly now is the best time for a brothers of destruction vs wyatt match for the tag titles. I don't think Kane is in good shape anymore but for a one off, I could see it. On smackdown of course..

Next week's Smackdown lineup is the number one reason I was excited for the brand split: those episodes of Raw/SD when one of the brands didn't have a PPV for 6-8 weeks, so they did a "mini-PPV" on free TV. It allows creative to put guys like Corbin into the main event to get a good rub without jeopardizing PPV buys/Network revenue, and I think it ups the ante for everyone involved to put on a better show given how many people are watching USA as opposed to a PPV.

These situations with the last brand split gave us the Lesnar/Angle and HHH/Benoit ironman matches, Edge/Ric Flair TLC, and a whole bunch of other great matches.

 

Man Taker was kind of the reason i wanted SmackDown to lose at Survivor Series. I meant not only would we not have to question why nobody from team Raw got fired, we could have gotten Taker vs AJ.

 

Weird to me that Kane's fitness levels are what you're concerned about with that match...

I'm counting them right now.

For next month, what I'm going to do is whoever wins the title at RR goes on to defend it at WM. Whatever the February ppv is will just be for bonus points on the WM card (like how it is in kayfabe anyway lol).

 

You should give the winner for February a "MITB contract" - x amount of extra points on any given card so as long as it's announced before the show starts :P

I know it's been said a thousand times but damn Tye is good. If he's not in the Rumble at 10 like we're all dreaming of... WWE is really gonna miss the ball and I'll be pretty bummed tbh. Wrestling disappoints me majority of the time so nothing phases me as much, but shit. Guy deserves it man.

 

I know I'm a day late, but I was at Smackdown last night and it was the most fun I've ever had at a WWE show. Seriously, such a great show. It was a shame there were people around us saying that RAW was a better show. I'm just sitting there like, "are we watching the same shows?"

 

Having Tye win a 10 man battle royale at takeover the night before with all the NXT midcard who doesn't have a match is probably too smart of a booking angle for WWE to do. It makes sense from a kayfabe perspective, gives casual fans a reason to watch TakeOver, lets them plug NXT and the Network during the rumble, gives Tye a win in front of the NXT crowd... only downside is you lose the surprise but he'll get a big pop either way

Alternatively, if you want to give someone else on the roster heel heat just sent them out at number 10 and watch the crowd turn on them.
