Trust me, watch this shit with a new fan, its a whole new perspective. My GF is a huge Bayley fan and beyond that...not so much. When I told her Bayley needs a heel to beat, she got the Ironwoman match ending

She was also genuinely concerned for Sasha's health after the blood. She asked at which point they stop a match (while Ive watched Eddie Guerrero blade that level of blood in 10 seconds)

I think Booker genuinely thinks he is helping talent get over during these live segments when really he is just belittling them.

 

Its funny, I expected the tag match to suck, and I think in retrospect, that match was the winner of the night. Sheamus/Cesaro is a way more fun combo than Rhyno/Slater

 

He buried KO at the start of it..."Jericho did it, I bet KO didnt even know it was coming".

 

Neville, tag match, and women's match were all great. The rest, whatever. Super Roman is played out.

 

Or all the BS he keeps pulling with Bayley, trying to get her to throw these tough girl promos on the rest of the roster when that's not her character right now. You build up to the Bayley mean streak! NXT played that story to absolute perfection. It's like Booker has an idea in his own head about who and what these characters are that don't align AT ALL with what they really are.

 

I'm still scratching my head at how the women didn't main event, especially after that wet fart of a finish to the KO/Reigns match. I mean, people obviously would have had the same reaction to Charlotte winning, but as a creative/business decision, how do you justify having that final match go on last instead of the Ironman match that you used to promote the entire PPV? WWE can be so fucking weird sometimes.

 

for a decemebr ppv? really not that bad. The tag match was a really hot opener that actually convinced me that new day losing works. Women's match, while had its missteps, was well done and i honestly didn't care who won. With either result I was gonna be interested in seeing 'where next'. Neville returning was great.

Its gonna be amazing when he has a 6 month title run, dumps the belt at RR, and yet hasnt actually defended it. Takes that Seth booking to new levels.

Though, at this point, if the KO/Jericho turn is the WM plan, he may well be a 9-10 month champ without a legit defense.

 

Im basically 100% with you. The first 2hrs of that PPV was great for a branded PPV. Even the end to the womens match make sense. That main event....so much bad booking to get to the real end. And unless one of the Shield members is turning on the other, or HHH is appearing soon, I have no idea where they are going beyond "Roman is the final shot"

But I'll settle for that over Roman holding the belt, and Neville and Fellowship of the Swing are enough to keep me invested in RAW for the next month+

 

Who are they gonna book to take the US belt from Roman? It'll be interesting to see how they book that while still making him look like Super Reigns.
