OMG, the absurdity of that whole sequence

Watching NXT. Ranked purely by the negative crowd reaction they are able to generate, the Drifter is second only to Eva Marie in terms of "best heel in the company"

Is Roderick Strong's middle name vanilla? He was good in the ring but felt even more generic than TM61.

 

Roddy is an awful face. He's so much better as a heel and I hope they'll realize that soon and turn him with how few heels are in NXT

 

Meltzer says he'd be surprised if Adam Cole stays with RoH.

Man, I will mark out so hard when he shows up in WWE. He should go straight to the main roster, he's already capable of being an upper level heel on SD. Lethal will probably join him too.

 

WWE is teasing Lana going to NXT, so that's a thing.

That's cool that she wants to do it. God knows what's gonna happen to Rusev/Lana though but I'm sure they'll figure some sort boring storyline for that.

Well, they're not exactly wrong. Your Paul Heyman-types are just important to the product as your Brock Lesnars, and when you are able to combine them, you get magic.

 

That's true but sooner or later Rusev will turn and either Lana has to turn with him or find another wrestler to manage as a heel, which wouldn't work as effective as it does with Rusev imo. Hoping she does have a good run down at NXT.

 

See, Id actually say when they turn Rusev face, it could either be by rescuing Lana (they've run enough storylines where that variation works), or just send Lana to NXT for that time. When Rusev turns back heel a few months later, she can come back and do mixed tags

 

I forgot how annoying wrestling fans can be until I saw some Facebook comments over the new day. So much bloody whining.

 

Going to a RAW brand house show tonight. Got free tickets through work. Was really glad Sami didn't end up getting traded, probably most excited to see him tonight.

 

The Rochester show? Was going to try to sneak over to it tonight, cause I'm up for the holidays at my parent's place in Syracuse, but I'm just absolutely swamped with work. :(

 

Found out I have wrestlemania tickets. Squeee.

Laying low tonight so decided to watch a random Royal Rumble. Went with 2004. If I recall correctly the Trips/HBK last man standing match is a great one? Don't recall
anything at all from 2004 though. Think that was a period where I wasn't really watching.

 

So the floslam Ayam wasn't working to start the show. Show started 50 minutes late. Door feel of the steel cage when they put it together. Took 35 minutes to fix. Main event hasn't started. 2 hour ride home. Fuck me.

 

KO's my favorite, even when he's taking heat

 

I've only seen two matches and the Mystery Vortex card already sounds awesome. I've really needed new PWG in my life.
