The NXT house show at MSG was a blast last night. Roode vs. Cedric was great, and The Drifter has Eva heat, really something spectacular. But the big moment of the night was the match in Penn Station. I gave it 5 stars when the police got involved, just excellent storytelling.

Thinking about going to the Raw house show next weekend, card looks pretty good:

New Day/E&C/Club/Cesaro & Sheamus
Sasha/Charlotte

Last time I went to a house show, DX was in the main event

 

KO vs. KO should be a lot of fun.

It's also something I could totally see happening.

Joey Ryan has some of the best stuff on Lucha. The way they limit his use is super effective. Need to start doing that shit with Ellsworth.

 

Lol. My dad lives in Toms River, and my girlfriend the other day was asking me about live wrestling I've been to. I don't know why, but I remembered back in like 2003 my Dad taking my brother and I to this local wrestling show a few times in Jackson. It was at this farm house, I think it was called Rova Farms or something like that. Just wondering if you remember going to something there, I've tried to look up cards from it, but can't find too much.

 

I never went to indie shows prior to last year. They actually have a place in Howell now where they are putting on some sweet concerts and a few small wrestling indies. Zandig did a crazy spot off the roof of the place. lol

 

When I was really little (aka the only kid still lol) my parents and I went to WWF shows back when it was still in that pre-Attitude Era weirdness haha (Thank you Shawn Michaels for making my love wrestling). Little older when money got tighter it was just Indie shows.

I remember going to an indie show though later like in the later 90s in a high school gym where Ahmed Johnson and Psycho Sid was suppose to be at; Sid no showed, but Ahmed was there. He won a battle royal.
The real highlight of that night was seeing Joey Styles at a booth where he was selling merch/action figures and I bought a Shawn Michaels action figure off him lol.

Another one I went to was in a fire department and a dude clipped himself jumping off the top rope to do a leg drop and hit into a low hanging pipe and basically clotheslined himself out the sky lol.

 

Gamechanger world?

 

That's the one. a friend of mine does a lot of the booking there.

 

considering I have ties in both MD and NY I'm kinda ashamed of myself for not having been to an ROH show yet. if i ever end up on the west coast id really like to see a PWG show.

 

I didn't know they ran indie shows out of there, I never hear about them

 

It would have been better if he was forced to retire and returned later as a heel with a new gimmick. Possibly to Raw.

 

Except there's nothing worse/more played out than the "retired but lol not really see u in a month" garbage they've done a million times before
