During a promo segment opposite Stokely Hathaway, manager to Evolve World Champion Timothy Thatcher, with whom Joey has been feuding with to an extent, he veered off topic to say that despite Evolve vice-president and booker Gabe Sapolsky forbidding him to make political jokes, he had a live microphone. He proceeded to compliment ring announcer Joanna Rose on her appearance before suggesting that the president-elect might like to “grab her by the—”, cutting himself off and saying that the word he left out brings him to Mr. Hathaway.

So yeah...in a promotion tied to WWE, making a Trump joke and calling someone a pussy...that'll get you fired if you arent a stud wrestler.

Funniest part is I dont even need to see video. That shit is straight out of his 1999 ECW playbook, I can hear his voice cutting that promo on Cyrus

I was gonna make a post about the show I went to, but this is a lot more important than that shit.


WWE Superstar Goldust says his transgender stepchild was attacked by three men Friday night … and now he’s begging for close-minded individuals to “stop all this hateful crap.”


The veteran wrestler took to his public Facebook page today and said, “My step son who is a transgender was attacked last night and I’m f*cking pissed.”

“Grow the eff up and let people live their lives the way they choose.”

He adds, “The three men who attacked and beat her up are still out there. You boys are three lucky individuals that I wasn’t there or you would [be] on life support.”

 

I dont think he could do PG and still be as interesting.

Smh I hate news like this. Just let people live their life, no one gives a fuck if you approve of how they're living or not. Hate folks like that. Goldust would've beat the breaks off them I'm sure.

I use to really like Cornette up till about a year or two ago, I'd find his rants/attitude funny even if I knew he was out dated booking wise. That said the thing that turned it for me is actually what I believe burned the bridge with his former podcast co-host; Alice Radley. He said a bunch of shit about Muslims and I was like ugh.. screw this guy. Between that and things hes said about like Kevin Owens, Ricochet, and such and people like that... got no use for him.

 

Cornette is such a strange person. all of his stuff condemning Trump was great and then he says shit like that.

 

That is one thing I can say if I see Corny talking shit on anyone that I'll listen and be amused it's republicans/politicians lol.

 

Framing it as a Trump-related comment kinda missed the point about how terrible it was

 

I really wanted wrestling to be my escapism from the reality of Trump as president, but of course it's even seeping into my one escape from all this shit.

 

Trump is such a shit show his stench will coat most things unfortunately...

 

He's also had some involvement in the wrestling industry for like 30 years. I just hope to God WWE doesn't acknowledge it on Monday.

 

Not to mention a WWE HoFamer.

 

Considering Vince and Trump are friends I wouldn't be surprised if they do. Aren't Vince & Linda at least Republicans too?
We'll defintiely get some typical WWE writing jokes/references about it in the very least.
