Agreed. Goldberg could probably put on a decent match with someone talented that cares. But with Brock not giving a fuck, it's doomed.

 

Thats gonna be the real problem with the match. Can Goldberg really hit Lesnar with a ton of offense? Can he sustain 2-3mins of it to be believable? And is Lesnar really gonna let booking eat a ton of damage to sell that?

If Goldberg was facing AJ or Cena, I'd expect a great match cause those guys can sell a half dozen big bumps and carry the match (see AJ v Roman #1). What's Lesnar gonna sell?

Alright...I'm officially excited for the inevitable Braun v Big Show match

 

I feel like Braun is only gunna keep getting better tbh cus isn't he still fairly green? according to his wiki hes only coming up 2 years in this december haha.

 

Yea, ive been thinking about how much more athletic strowman has looked. I guess hes been working his ass off. I just hope he doesn't like end big shows career, that would be sad.

 

I hate to seem negative/pessimistic but I wish I remember the last time WWE consistently booked a big man well (*outside of Taker). Granted outside of Show & Kane; Taker included (all 3 having a good case for top 3 big men ever) the rest of the big men they've had for some time been guys like Khali, Koslov, etc. so what really can ya do there lol.

I think Braun and Big Cass have chances to be big talents though; especially Cass. Braun I still kinda fear the eventually typically WWE "Silly big guy" turn (which to be fair, he does seem to have a decent sense of humor lol).

 

Really hope Paige is at this JAPW show tonight. not that I'd talk to her or anything. it'd just be neat I guess.

 

Really is a shame how everything has gone with Paige in the recent months. I dont even know how much you can really put on her tbh, seems most of it is WWE being petty. She's not perfect and seems to be a bit rash but she's still like what? 24-25? I'm right around her age I couldn't imagine getting to the big stage and it seeming to be slipping away from her so early on in her career.

 

She's 24, and debuted as Womens champ at the age of 21. She's younger than Charlotte/Becky/Bayley by a good 4-6 years, younger than Alexa Bliss, and about the same age as Sasha.

If she gets healthy and returns (a big if), the womens division for the next 5 years is pretty solid, and her/Sasha/Alexa have like 10 years if they want

 

Hell it's looking pretty good even without her hate to say lol, you got a lot of talented girls on the main roster and in NXT (I'm partial to Ember Moon cus I like to tease my girl like they must be sisters or something, look related lol). From Asuka and Ember to Alexa, Becky, Sasha, Charlotte, Bayley, and even the ones who don't get as much appreciation/shine in the grand scheme like Naomi & Natalya WWE Women's division is stacked.

 

I guess they are running Breezango as a face team on this tour?

 

They should be faces, theyre awesome and hilarious lol super underappreciated.

i always use to wonder as a kid once i realized the reality of wrestling, how much did horns on masks or whatever even crazy hair mess with taking bumps lol.

 

It's all foam. they actually sell the masks for $40.

 

I figured they were made of something soft since I seen em blow around before, never knew the actual texture/fabric lol.

I was really young still still old enough to remember the luchadors in WCW, Lucha Underground is super refreshing and I've loved it since season 1 though admittedly I'm a tad behind now. Pentagon Jr. is my fav.

 

I just picked up the most obnoxious Pentagon shirt. Haha. really excited to see what they do with his character going forward.

 

Most fascinating part of LU might be that nobody really gets buried, even if they arent chasing the main title. Even the stuff with Son of Havoc, in what can only be described as the low-card, is working.

I guess thats the advantage to scripting the whole show at seasons start and taping in like 6-7 weeks

 

I was listening to an older issue of the WWW podcast, and they were discussing this match. I've never seen it before, but I'm sure a bunch of you have, but man, what a shitshow.
