Just watched that Styles Clash AJ did to Ellsworth and man it's hard not to cringe at that. Luckily for him he didn't weigh that much and AJ was able to adjust accordingly, couldn't help but think if that was someone like John Cena that he could've helped him much. Got a feeling we might see it banned very soon.

 

Nah, instead we just wont see it used in lesser matches. Which is how it should be, as his calf-crusher and phenomenal forearm are more than enough as non-PPV finishers.

If anything, him not murdering Ellsworth proves he can use it safely

 

That's true, but it doesn't mean that others can. Only reason AJ was able to shift so quickly was because James was smaller than AJ and skinny. If that was someone taller and much more bulkier, then I don't think AJ would be able to adjust in time. But you're right though, he does use it sparingly which is always what an effective finisher should be.
