Just listened to the new Cheap Heat, and yes, I marked out like a little kid when they mentioned my article, @Whatjuliansaid. And then I kept marking out for Becky, who is the greatest human being to ever live.

 

They had to film a vignette into coincide with this, right? Because I need that.

 

There aren't many things that bun me out then when someone says "come over! I've got a pool!" Only to find out it is above ground.

 

Rhodes is in a legal battle and he doesn't identify as being a Runnels. He told Sam Roberts that he never met Virgil Runnels the plumber, he only knew Dusty Rhodes. So much so that before a state tournament wrestling match in high school he asked to be announced as Cody Rhodes which is part of his legal defense. The match was televised so he's claiming to have used it on TV before WWE did, thus they can't own it.

 

Seems like a stretch, but it's better than nothing. I hope he wins. I wonder if the fact that he was marketed strictly as "Stardust" for the last two years of his tenure, despite pushing to return to Cody Rhodes and being rejected, would show a lack of intention on behalf of WWE to use the intellectual property and help him out. Although, he was portrayed as "Cody Rhodes" during the Dusty Classic in NXT, but as a presenter and not a performer.

 

This is wonderful. Love that they call a certain wrestler DUSTIN. lol

An indie wrestling icon says goodbye

 

This is one of my favorite bits of his. Miss him so much.

 

Starting next week I work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. It's going to be really hard for me to watch any wrestling live besides NXT and Lucha on Wednesdays, and ROH PPVs on Fridays.

 

This is pretty awesome. Kinda makes me wish I watched a little TNA when I was younger. Might have stuck with wrestling for all those years.

 

John Morrison/Johnny Mundo has a small one scene role in the season 7 premiere of Shameless. Had to do a double take when he came on screen.

 

I never really watched AJ until now but I had seen some clips from after he left TNA. This video reminds me of two things: 1. I missed out. 2. To me, his clean shaven, short haired TNA look is so foreign to me that I probably wouldn't have recognized him.

Only reason I ever tuned into TNA once in a blue moon back in the day was AJ Styles.

 

Looks like he'll be on it again. He posted a picture saying he'll be in an episode on Oct 2nd.

 

So excited for clash tomorrow it's my first ever PPV I'm going to

 

Same here. Well, initially it was Sting but those Styles/Joe/Daniels feuds were amazing back then.

 

Yeah that's the premiere. Showtime posted the episode on Youtube two weeks early, it'll air on tv Oct 2nd.

 

I should probably hurry up and watch season six.

 

Kinda worried about what direction they take with Emma.

 

No idea why they put Emma on raw other than Dana. Wouldn't she have a better chance on smackdown?
