I did not think it was going to end with Kota tapping.

What a match.

 

Was not expecting any of this

 

And getting out-wrestled multiple times to lead to that. Twice, TJP countered Ibushi's move...that final one countering how Ibushi had gotten out of the knee bar just before

 

That match was seriously incredible. Kicking out of the powerbomb was a hell of a moment.

 

Metalik-Sabre was great. Perkins-Ibushi was a top 5 match of the year (so far) for me

 

All four of Ibushi's matches this tournament were fantastic. Bummed he isn't coming to WWE.

No doubt. That said, seeing Ibushi put on those matches makes me like him more as a mercenary. He can come to WWE whenever he wants

Right behind Sami/Shinsuke for me. That said, considering it was for the tourney finals, it may end up atop my list

 

Yeah the final could top it for sure

 

It's crazy to think about how many MOTY candidates came out of this tournament.

 

And there were basically no squash matches or complete duds. A few of the early matches were awkward, but, still solid 8-9min affairs

 

Cedric Alexander is so fucking good

 

I love that through-the-ropes dive that Gargano does.

 

This is basically proof that RAW is gonna be 1000x better starting next week. these guys are gonna put on at least one great match a week

 

Haven't even had the final yet, and I feel safe saying tonight has been better than any other PPV/Takeover/Network Special this year

Yep, its already topped all the ones so far. The final would have to be a damn botch fest for it to not be better

 

Gonna have to go back and watch the first two matches, but just got home and no way I can miss the finals live as they happen.

 

Metalik/ZSJ was great, but TJP/Ibushi was a MOTY candidate.

 

Whatever the fuck that move TJP did with the knees to the face they just showed on the replay was dope. Has he done that before in the tournament? I haven't been keeping up every week, which seems like a huge mistake on my part.

 

Want TJP to win this. Metalik makes more sense though
