Remember when Ryback was gonna squash AJ?

 

Was just thinking this. Love that AJ is holding a belt like 7-8 months after debuting. And yet it came not long after watching Bray get stuck in nothingness.

That said, Cena is definitely gonna go over AJ to get the record. No better target for being Flair's record (with his non-wwe ties) than the face of all VInce's competitors

Remember on AP when some posters said VKM would never let AJ rise above midcard status lol

Kane got a win. It cant possibly be called fan service when Kane goes over Bray.

I think this is the first PPV where the balance of heel and face wins felt right. And the face wins were the good storyline builds, while the heel wins were the weaker builds (Corbin had 0 build, Miz had little with Ziggler, Usos was slapped together). Usually its the other way around.

 

Cena v AJ as the main event. I could see that. Would be totally fine with Cena grabbing the record being the closing moment.

Of course, the co main event where KO-mania runs wild will set the crowd up nicely

 

Those claims were made by the dirtsheets. It wasn't like people were just saying it to say it. Meltzer corrected himself somewhat recently saying that the plan was for him to main event all along and the rumors were crap.

 

Well, and after VKM watched AJ do everything he could to boost Roman as a champ, he kinda had no choice. But what a great PPV. ANd now tomorrow I get to watch KO pin Roman to keep him out of a triple threat match. GOnna be lovely

 

I love when Meltzer backtracks on the rumors he started 6 months later.

no, but they still gave you an orton pop and rko eventhough he wasnt cleared to wrestle. they had no choice to go all in with that though, the card looked terrible and they had to stretch to even get in the vicinity of three hours, they wouldve been raked over the coals otherwise. on the heels of ko's win though, you've had four new champions crowned in the last couple weeks and they were all booked to get the same response. i just see it as a bit of an emotional overload.

womens match stole the show. the rest of the card felt as good as a brand split ppv can possibly be

 

fuck, guess I will go back and watch the backlash. Too drunk. Happy 27 to me.

 

AJ v Dean was so good. Every match AJ has is amazing. He obviously deserves the belt.

I know a lot of people are growing tired of Dean, but I thought him getting booed during the match was lame. He was great tonight. His performance didn't deserve boos throughout the whole match. That crowd sucked all night.

And lastly, I have a feeling we are gonna see AJ, Balor, and the Club all holding titles at the same time soon.
