Miz definitely got personally offended since he was crying at the end there but yeah real good promo. Low blow to Bryan but that part was probably planned.

 

Honestly, I don't think it was a low blow. Bryan's comment about Miz "wrestling like he doesn't want to get hurt" and blowing off his clean win was the low blow, imo.

 

No matter how good of a talker the miz is he still bores the hell out of me, he's been the same character for his entire wrestling career. Yawn.

Tbh I never even think of his wrestling when I think of him, his mouth is his best feature.

Blowing off his clean win was but other than that Bryan just spoke what everyone already knew.

 

Watching that Miz promo, Miz was fantastic ! But the thing for me was that it made me dislike Bryan aha. He came off as a snooty asshole.

 

Seth Rollins single-handedly took away a possible Sting/Taker match and he just took away a Finn Balor title run. Now we probably have to deal with Roman winning it for the 4th time. He's really gotta stop using the running powerbomb.

 

Wasn't Daniel Miz's rookie on his Tough Enough season? Within kayfabe, that must hurt bad to hear your pupil trash your wrestling style.

 

why are we all assuming Roman is going to win? Rusev is going to take him out of the match.

I thought it was the gods last gift that messed up Finn's shoulder but I haven't re-watched the match. everyone is saying it was the powerbomb

 

It was the powerbomb into the barricade. They even said so on RAW.

 

You see him pop his shoulder back into the socket after the powerbomb. It's brutal.

Yeah Miz was Bryan's first feud in WWE, with the "talented indie guy vs 'prototypical' wwe guy" thing being the heart of the feud, and it ended with Bryan winning the US title from Miz. That feud has been called back to and referenced to during the course of Bryan's run, and it was brilliant for them to bring it back here.

I don't think there is anything I love more in wrestling storytelling than the longterm continuity of when old feuds and angles start back up sometimes years later without losing a step. It's the same reason why I love Owens/Zayn, Okada/Tanahashi, Omega/Ibushi, and Cole/O'Reilly so much.

 

Anyone think AJ and Dean should do a double-turn? Dean is so damn stale and is a much better heel. AJ could be the next big baby face star for the next few years. THE FACE THAT RUNS THE PLACE!
