Is Finn really selling that well to kids to begin with?

 

Bunch of kids were wearing his merch at the two NXT shows I've been to.

 

Finn is over with the big guys, and that is all that matters.

 

But those are cool NXT kidz.

It's saving you the trouble of ending up on a horribly designed site.

 

411MANIA | WWE Reportedly Releases Joey Styles

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has reportedly released Joey Styles. Styles took part in a Facebok Q&A back on July 29th, which some described as a “shoot style interview.” During the interview, Styles spoke about his dislike of the three man commentary teams, not liking the name of the Universal Championship and why Vince McMahon loves Roman Reigns so much.

There is no confirmation tat this interview led to his release, but the video has since been pulled from WWE’s YouTube and Facebook pages. Styles worked for WWE as an announcer from 2005 to 2008, transitioned into a position for the company’s website and was promoted to Vice President of Digital Media Content.

 

They better not fucking release Cathy Kelley since she was in on that as well.

It was nothing very exciting. I remember seeing it and wondering how the hell it made it on to YouTube. He always seemed like he was displeased with working for the company all along.

Same at the NXT shows i've gone to. There has been just as much boys wearing Finn merch as there are girls dressed as Bayley.

Yep, since they are now tied 1-1 on PPVs, would have been the right thing for their match at SS to be the tiebreaker. That said, Im cool with it being a match at WM instead (probably spawned out of the RR), ideally with a belt on the line.

Disagree that a loss brings him down. Dean lost how many times in PPV matches yet is still a believable champ.

I think a loss hurts Finn more. As big as he was in NXT (and other promotions), a lot of the WWE audience still doesnt know him. Having him go over at Summerslam launches him even bigger than having AJ make the run he did. And assuming he comes out as the demon at the PPV, remember how long NXT protected that persona...having him lose in match one kills it.

Also, RAW doesnt really have a dominant face (or should i say "full-time" face). They have great heels in Rollins, KO, and Rusev. So giving Finn the belt allows those guys to make a run at the title for the next few months. And then when one of them takes it, you've got other faces to boost in Sami and Cesaro.

And that'll all build nicely to the squash match at WM where Strouman takes the title

 

Seth losing clean to Finn would bring him down. Finn turning heel and cheating/using his club buddies to beat Seth elevates them both.

 

Yeah I'm all for the double turn. Summerslam is usually the place for the big turn to happen these past few years.

Commercial for Raw mentioned that we're getting some sort of celebration of Lana and Rusev's wedding tonight.
