Monday Night Hulu live reaction/thoughts

- Last week on Raw is a great great thing. When you have a video package team that good you should utilize them as much as possible

- Honestly can't remember when they opened a Raw with the women. Opening the ppv and now Raw with them is a pretty great statement. Is it that cold in the arena that Charlotte needs to wear her robe just to talk? Sasha vs Charlotte should be a cage match. God bless you Jericho. I can't believe how over Enzo's stupid dance is. Truly amazing. We've all said it before, but Enzo is the best mic worker in the company right now and the best they've had in years. He's outshining Jericho in this segment and Jericho is already one of the best ever.

- Why beat your new Women's champion even with a screwjob finish? Its just a bad idea.

- I like these in ring interviews better than the backstage stuff they were always doing. Makes them feel more important. lol at the braves joke. This is a good segment, but I wish when Rollins brought up all of the times he did something first, Finn responded by saying he did it better. Saying he was the longest reigning NXT champion and beating Roman Reigns in his very first night would've been a nice touch.

- Actually really enjoyed Rusev vs. Henry. Really good big man vs. big man match. And I love the superkick to the back of the head rather than the front. Adds an extra danger factor similar to Nakamuras knee to the back of the head. Roman vs. Rusev for the US title is the best use of Roman since the shield split. This is also the spot Roman probably should've been in for WM31.

- I like the explanation for Cesaro not being picked higher. Makes him feel legitimate while also being completely reasonable for his drop in stock.

- Gonna guess that the New Day loses their titles at Summerslam via Big E being low blowed. Vince really has a thing for damaged nuts

- Cesaro/Sheamus and Rollins/Zayn were both solid. I wonder where Zayn goes from here because it seems like Owens will be in a tag match at Summerslam leaving Sami directionless.

- Brock segment was great. Orton was great. Officially stoked for this feud

Overall: another very good show. Hulu Raw continues to slay

 

I went to sleep during the Heyman segment. Did I miss something amazing? It wasn't that great.

 

The opening segment was fun but would've been much better if Charlotte wasn't so awful. I cringe every time she talks.

So far Summerslam card is looking like it's going to be packed. So far it's looking like:
Orton/Lesnar
Rollins/Balor
Ambrose/Ziggler
Reigns/Rusev
New Day/Gallows and Anderson
Sasha/Charlotte
Cesaro/Sheamus
Jericho and Owens/Enzo and Cass
Young/Titus

That's a whole lot of matches, and we still don't know what alot of the Smackdown roster is going to do. I'm assuming we're probably going to get Cena/AJ again but still not sure about that. Also not sure what Sami will do, I can only think that he'll face Nevile or Braun or just not be on the card at all.

Which makes sense why Summerslam is 4 hours long

It's literally just the two of them biting off the heads of jobbers.

Its a 4hr event, plus presumably a pre-show. So, easily able to fit all those in

WM32 had 11 matches (+ that Rock segment), with two going 30mins. Cant see any of these matches going more than 15-20, so, they could easily have 12-13 matches if they wanted

 

I was thinking maybe they'll do some sort of multi-woman match for the Smackdown women's division like a 6 woman tag or a gauntlet match or something. We'll see how that turns out tonight.

 

As long as Eva wins, all is right with the world.

 

That makes more sense, how else can they get Naomi to bury Becky haha

 

You guys Joke, but I would actually love watching a squash off. That would be funny television.

 

Nia's traditional butternut squash dish is delicious, but Braun could surprise people with his squash fritters.

 

Squash is good sometimes, occasionally really. Not a vegetable I use often, maybe Emma or someone can find some good ways to use squash.

 

Squash is a bit too bland to me.

 

I've had dried squash chips, it slightly traumatized me... Then again any dried veggie chips are quite disgusting.

 

I liked that pretty much every match had a explanation for existing. Even Henry vs rusev....I mean we've seen that a trillion times but that little backstage thing with Henry before hand was a nice touch.

I still say summerslam screamed rusev vs zayn.

 

Can't wait for that USA chant.

 

Meltzer said it's likely Smackdown is getting a tag team title and women's title

 

A tag team title for all one relevant tag team? Cool

 

And Del Rio is likely on his way out. He has an opt out clause he may go with in September.
