Broken Matt Hardy on Talk Is Jericho on Wednesday!

 

Will he delete Jericho tho?

 

I'm highly considering subscribing to the Highspots Wrestling Network. The first month is 99 cents with a discount code and 9.99 after that so i'd figure i'd give it a try.

Mostly want to watch alot of older pre-2011 PWG stuff I don't have on DVD, $5 Wrestling, and maybe check out some CZW. They also have a huge library of shoot interviews which i'm totally down to watch alot of.

 

It looked a lot better with Asuka then it did on that episode of NXT. Was it Bayley she did it to?

She also did this move where she picked up Asuka for a Samoan drop then threw her up in the air and caught her for a powerslam. It looked way better than the jackhammer.

 

It's definitely worth trying for a month. The Brian Myers series of shoots are great.

 

I heard him on The Sam Roberts show and he did the whole thing in character. It was only a short one though but I assume he'll keep up the act on Jericho's show. I just hope Jericho plays it straight and doesn't try to outdo him with wackiness.

First wrestling show i'm going to watch with my new Highspots Network subscription is CZW's Tournament of Death, I don't know if i'm prepared for this lol.

 

This is so shitty and incredibly disgusting, but I can't take my eyes off of it lol.

I'm now watching two bloody fat bald dudes in cut off t-shirts with kenzans stuck in their heads do a boxing spot using plastic water jugs as gloves.

I'm now about to watch a "right of passage match". Which is a deathmatch where the wrestlers are barefoot and there are hot coals on the outside of the ring and both wrestlers have have shards of glass glued to their hand tape. What..the..fuck..

 

CZW is garbage.

 

I feel like i'm going to get Hep C just from watching this.

Almost all these deathmatch wrestlers seem identical to me too. They pretty much all have the exact same gimmick of "out of shape tough dude in a cut off t-shirt" like they're all trying to be either Sandman or Kevin Steen.

I am rooting for Ricky Shane Page though just because I like that he uses "We Can Roll" by Bad Rabbits as his theme lol.

 

I don't like to watch CZW, but Lio Rush is really really good. Gonna be awesome to see him break out.

 

When CZW does non-deathmatch stuff, it can be pretty decent, Drew Gulak's "for a better combat zone" gimmick was pretty good. I don't think they do the extremely brutal stuff outside of ToD because of state rules and stuff, but they can get away with some stuff.

Spending the day watching some old PWG shows i've never seen before. Kevin Steen vs Akira Tozawa was so fucking great.

just catching up on Battleground, man was the crowd dead for the Becky/Nat match. Only other thing I wish was better was that KO and Sami were on different brands. Would have made that ending pause even better.
