G1 is weird so far. Maybe they are throwing up a lot of false flags in the first round?

I would like to let people know about #WWECWC competitor Kenneth Johnson.I met Kenneth for the first time when he was an extra talent for WWE.I spoke to Kenneth and apart from finding out that he was a polite,hard working man,he had a serious speech impediment.We talked about promos and he told me it was a thing that was obviously very difficult for him.I met Kenneth after several months when he was at a WWE show again.He asked me if he could show me a promo and could I help him with some advice.Kenneth proceeded to cut a three minute promo without any problems.My friend Daniel Bryan said on this weeks CWC that Kenneth was told to fix his problem.That wasn't correct information as I obviously hasn't explained the story properly to DB.Kenneth practiced in his own time for no other reason than he wanted to better himself.Kenneth now barely has any of his former problems.He achieved greatness and know one can ever take that away from him and he has become a hero of mine.Now,if Kenneth can work so hard to be able to be a decent promo person,what's anyone else's excuse?"

 

The Nia Jax/ Bayley match from this past week's NXT probably the best women's match of the year thus far

 

What an incredibly weak card for Battleground.

 

I like it. The triple threat is great. I've been a big fan of this new day/wyatt feud. I'm also into Natalya/Becky (simple and yet good feud). I'm obviously intrigued at the mystery partner for Sasha. Two unlikely undercard title matches. and the last match for the club and the wyatt family.

i think if Zayn and Owens were being split that match could have stole the show.

 

Bayley easily has some of the best in-ring psychology of anyone on the roster, and she's proven that in every one of her matchups with Nia. Thought Nia's jackhammer was such a sick move. She really should adopt that as a second finisher.

I would still put the triple threat from Mania ahead of this match, though.

 

i don't think its a bad card, compared to previous PPVS.

 

Agreed, I'm actually pretty excited for this card. Especially if they give everyone time to work. From an in-ring perspective, all of the matches on the card have the chance of being fantastic. Hope they stay away from any tomfoolery.

 

Just no 30 minute segments with the Mcmahons please

 

i would hope most of the matches wouldn't have screwy finishes since the brand split has them ending anyways, but i wouldn't be surprised.

 

Battleground is very much a B tier PPV, and as far as B tier PPV cards go it actually seems pretty strong. It arguably has had the best build of the year.

 

Romans entrance should be very interesting.

Sexy Star vs. Mariposa was the best women's match of the year (so far) by a long shot.

For those who haven't seen it.

 

Eh, it was entertaining, but not really my cup of tea. The actual in-ring stuff was super limited in that match. Which is fine—not the point of a I Quit/No Mas match to be some technical display. But I need there to be more than 10 actual wrestling moves and transitions if I'm going to call a match the best of the year.

The "Fuck you, Mariposa" was fantastic, though.

 

What if Roman becomes the new leader of the Club and wins the title? Imagine the boos.

 

New Raw and Smackdown logos revealed. God lord, these are terrible. Especially the Raw one.

A human being was paid to make that Raw logo. Think about that for a second. Fairly certain they used WordArt to make it.

 

Good lord. Did they double italicize Smackdown Live? It looks like the Big Show gave it a big splash.
