They love him, he has a lot of pull. A lot of people went before him who shouldn't have. Probably vinces fu to the fans for liking a non reigns looking guy

 

Just weird that they put stock in part timers like that. Jericho basically said he'll be done with this run around December.

 

He was supposed to be done a few months back too and he returned. I guess the rosters shake out a little better once you put that and Brock and veterans that wont be on tv like big show on them. Most of smack down will be on there every night, even Kane... Which you can argue isn't necessarily good lol

 

Yeah this was not a good draft. I mean sure there's possible potential there but some of the decisions here are weird. Only 4 tag teams (well 5 if we're counting The Hype Bros, but they were drafted as single competitors), and I can only see AA as the ones getting really over. The divas division is a mess. Excited at the potential for a cruiserweight division but lol at Kalisto being on the roster that doesn't have it.

Speaking of Kalisto, that botch with his promo means he's definitely going to be jobbered for these first few weeks...

But yeah that SD roster is weak compared to RAW, once again Vince and creative are just trying to make RAW look like the better show.

 

There are 5: AA, Usos, Breezango, Ascension, and VV

Coach has really come around. I don't know much about his WWE run, but from what I've seen, he seemed pretty disliked. Really like that he has become a huge bridge between sports and kinda sports.

 

He was pretty awesome, I'm guessing you missed a big chunk of good wrestling.

Ah I forgot the Usos, knew I forgot someone. But just seeing how low down the tag teams were picked on SD shows how much they care for some of the tagteams. However, looking forward to possibly AA & VV matches, that'll be fun to watch.

 

Now in the end. None of this matters. While other wrestlers might be gettinf title shots wth the split, we are still working under wwe creative and Vince here. Things don't just get better because of this. I've heard this complaint from a few people and I agree, the biggest failure of this draft is that smackdown didn't have a strategy to make themselves DIFFERENT. With the draft..we just have two raws now. Raw and raw lite and after the newness of it all...dear God...with a ppv 9+ hours of wrestling a week...no thank you

 

I skipped 2002-2014, so yeah.

TONIGHT

 

For the most part the core of smackdown is just nxt talent that hasn't yet proven it can get over with the main audience. All those that could, with maybe the exception of Becky, got sent to Raw. That was clearly deliberate and doomed this from the start.

 

Idk about you guys but I'm most excited about Braun stowman stromans whatever his name is singles push!
