Part of the draft is network exclusive tonight. The draft will go past 10 PM and they'll be announcing those picks on a network special.

 

Seth vs. Ambrose rematch tonight lol.

That Mt Rushmore vs Ricochet/Sydal/Ospreay match though. What. A. Card so far.

 

Does anyone else feel like the Seth Ambrose match was flat? I'm not really that excited watch it again.

 

Really looking forward to all announced BOLA matches so far. But the one i'm looking forward to most out of the ones announced today is Fenix/Will Ospreay.

 

Just might have to get myself some tickets

 

I didn't have a problem with the match itself necessarily. I just couldn't find myself getting heavily invested in it. The chances of it ending clean were so minimal. And as was pointed out already, the outcome is almost meaningless because the champion has to defend the belt against the same guy they just beat and Roman Reigns on Sunday.

 

Pretty bad writing/planning if you ask me. Should have at least made it a special match or something. I feel like the creativity is quickly disappearing.

 

I would assume that's Tommy End's last PWG show(s) as well.

I guess they're just trying to make this draft as authentic as possible, including making their final decisions on the spot.

 

I wonder how much of this is shit planning and how much is Vince being like "I WANT SIX NXT DRAFT PICKS" at the last minute

 

How did the PPV's function back when they originally split the brands? I wasn't watching from 1999-2006.

 

From mid 2003 to early 2007 it worked like it's going to work now, Raw exclusive ppvs, Smackdown exclusive ppvs, and the "big 4" Wrestlemania, Survivor Series, Summerslam, and Royal Rumble being mixed.

 

Just found out there is a Lucha Underground show in NYC this weekend, but I can't justify going to NYC three times in one week.

 

For the mixed shows, are there individual matches from each brand scattered throughout or do wrestlers from one brand starting cutting promos on wrestlers from the other brand?

 

I didn't really watch during that period but I think it was matches from each brand scattered throughout with the occasional co-mingling of brands.

 

Last pick of the draft should definitely make that part of their gimmick.
