I think we will see 4 really good matches which makes for a good PPV imo

 

it's weird how they have to treat Reigns' title... reign... like Punk's - not having him close out the show / main events - although whereas Vince hated Punk and that's why, here it's literal fear of ending every event with booing because it's Roman. i adore how much that pisses Vince off.

 

My girlfriend and I were just talking about that earlier. We both agreed to watch MITB cause it's live, but damn. Missing the Battle of the Bastards, if even just for a couple of hours, is going to be tough

 

WO is reporting Bobby Roode, Tommy End (both of which we kind of knew), MOOSE, Noam Dar, and Big Damo have all been signed.

I assume most of these guys will probably fill in all the voids left by the forthcoming NXT raid?

 

Trips says they have something like fifty 'ready for tv' guys in waiting. I'm sure that these big name indie guys will be either taking the place of call ups, or just straight up going to the main roster. If Roderick Strong ends up signing, he may go straight to the main roster. Roode can definitely go straight up, but it looks like they have plans for him in NXT first. Moose is definitely going to need promo time in NXT. The rest of the guys might end up in a Ciampa/Gargano role to start off.

 

Vince took one look at Moose and jizzed all over the rocket he's about to shove up his ass.

 

Yeah but NXT can't be all in grown talent. It currently relies on the big named indie talent to help attract viewers. So even beyond using it to develop guys, I don't see them getting rid of Joe/nakamura/Aries without bringing in some other names to make the indie smarks happy

 

You are going to be getting a lot more of that soon. I'm not sure we get AA on the main roster. I think a lot of the TNA guys end up sticking around in NXT for a while. The way Joe talks about his treatment when he got to the PC is awesome. They basically get left alone. I don't think any of those guys mind working those shows. In terms of personnel for the next six months, I see it looking like this:

The biggest toss up right now is definitely the tag division. With American Alpha likely getting called up, the division doesn't really have a strong, well developed team.

 

And a year from now, I'd expect Will Ospreay, Ricochet and ZSJ to be destroying everyone.

as good as this enormous smorgasbord of talent coming up is, if i was in this pool i'd have to be asking what their plan for me is so i don't get lost in the shuffle and poorly managed (i.e. when the Big 3 merged and all was fucked up).

 

Revival is going to get called up once Ciampa and Gargano grab the belts.

Such a good worker, not a great promo though. But if Styles can main event, Strong can definitely be a midcarder

 

The biggest difference is that these guys aren't coming from promotions Vince hates. It took years for him to see the potential in Benoit and Eddie. I think Trips definitely has a plan for the folks he has in NXT right now. Hopefully the fact that he is basically calling it its own brand leads to something bigger. Being in NXT isn't relegating you to developmental.

 

Build NXT up as its own strong, standalone brand then do the invasion angle right finally.

Im not all the way caught up on LU, but, if Im Morrison, Id want to stay there. How does he get past Sami and AJ and a few other guys of a similar mold?

 

Well, Morrison probably doesn't leave. He might have big things going for him in the storyline. He's been an amazing heel and is gonna be huge going forward. I'm not sure what the pay looks like. Gabriel could go either way. He was been good in his role, but kinda overshadowed by Mundo and Jack Evans. Evans may be as good a heel as KO. Guy is crazy good at pulling heat. He's actually a guy who might have some stock since his AAA tag partner is out.
