Yep Heyman covered Jeff for the win. Some decent back and forth between Brock and the Hardys though. Short match.

 

It hasn't started yet lol, it's about to be 2 hrs of the same commercials playing over and over. They're having "technical difficulties."

 

Considering the news about them not having money, they might be done. lol

 

Just watched Backlash 2000 for the first time and man other then one match that was a awesome PPV.

 

2002 was the height of "Brock is going WAY fucking over"

He beat both of the Hardy Boyz in what was basically a handicap match. This was less than 3 months after he debuted.

The next month he wins King of the Ring. Then he beats Hogan clean (!!!) on Smackdown in August. A few weeks later he beats the Rock clean for the title.

A couple ppvs after that he beats Taker in a fucking Hell in a Cell match. Just insane.

 

My favorite 2002 Brock Lesnar moment was his double turn with Big Show at Survivor Series when Heyman turned on him. Probably the most underrated double turn WWE ever did IMO, so well done.

I think I need to start watching Revolution Pro. Their camera work is unbelievable for an indie. And this pop.

 

I wanted that dude in the corner to super kick him in the middle of all that just to draw some crazy heat.

 

Haha I don't see Bailey being a dick like that. Definitely the best way to pick up some heat though.

This is wonderful.

 

One of the best PPVs of all time. The Dudleys reunite in the opening match, a ridiculously entertaining cruiserweight match between Billy Kidman and Jamie Noble, that Lesnar/Big Show/Heyman swerve, the tag titles elimination match between Edge/Mysterio, Los Guerreros and Angle/Benoit, and the very first Elimination Chamber.

 

And the promo Heyman cut right after was great....just watching it now. Hitting Lesnar's music and coming out

 

This was a big turning point in both of their careers. The funny thing is that Vince and Angle played a trick on Edge and told him that he was going to do the job that night and lose his hair. Angle said in an interview that Edge agreed because he would never turn down an order from Vince but that before the match, he saw Edge crying in the locker room about losing his hair. So they decided to tell him five minutes before the match that it was a joke and Angle would be losing his hair.
