I mean lets be honest, Cena has been in some pretty awesome matches. I feel like he's held his own in those matches as well. Cena/Lesnar at Extreme Rules was outstanding, Cena/Rollins at Summerslam was outstanding besides the fluky ending, Cena/Punk at MITB. Obviously his matches with KO, Not to mention he's had some pretty great matches with Orton and Edge as well. So yea, I'm pretty hyped about this match and what Cena can bring if fully healthy.

 

You must really shit on everything don't you ?

 

The only one I think qualifies was the first one at Elimination Chamber, both because of the surprising finish and because it was probably their best wrestled match. Stuff I would easily put above it from WWE: Sasha/Bayley - Brooklyn (easy #1), Royal Rumble Triple Threat, Sasha/Bayley 2, Rollins/Cena at SS, possibly the FastLane match.

It's not like it was a bad match but it's definitely not something I think about when I think "best matches of 2015". Top 10 almost for sure, but not much more than that. Cena is a guy who wrestles to the level of his opponent. Always has been. That being said, he hasn't wrestled on TV since what? October? We don't even know his level of health or how it affects him in the ring.

It could be good. It could be very sloppy. Especially given the bad booking of late. Calling a match that has had one borderline-shitty build segment potentially one of the best in the last 15 years is a Drew statement. Actually, it's beyond that. It's insane, like I said.

I agree. It was by far the best segment on raw, and it also got a huge reaction from a dead crowd. I jumped out of my seat when AJ attacked him. Not borderline shitty at all

 

Watching Rollins interview at wizard world yesterday

 

The Seth Rollins doc is a nice reminder of just how much WWE depends on R.O.H.

 

So Tanahashi is hurt and being replace with Elgin in a ladder match against Omega. That sounds like something I must watch.

 

Going to NXT in a couple of hours. I know they were doing those split roster shows a while back, anyone know if that's still the case?

maybe the UFC/WWE have a better relationship than we realized.

 

Just speculation if this is true, but I'd guess that Brock's "multi year deal" that Hunter claimed was really like a 10 match deal that they would stretch out over a few years, but then they didn't and now he wants to go back to UFC. Unbelievable.

Yep, IIRC it was a three year deal so there's still another couple years left and if this is happening WWE has to be getting something (borrowing Ronda for WM?)

It's free advertising for them. It helps legitimize their brand, especially if Brock wins or puts up a good fight. They also will probably get Ronda for an actual match at wrestlemania out of this too. I really think this is a smart decision on their end.

 

Put the WWE title on him before the fight, send this shit in guns a-blazing.
