That isn't obvious to everyone already? lol I saw him live like three times before he even debuted at NXT house shows and I thought it was clear as day then.

 

Huge difference being, he is Hispanic. It seems more and more that WWE is trying to bulk up their roster with foreign talent.

In the last two years we've seen three Japanese wrestlers rise to prominence.
TM61, Emma, Billie Kay (who should already be huge), and Murphy are all Australian.
Becky and Finn repping Ireland.

The one thing that has really been missing is a Latin American presence. That is going to change over the next month or so. It will be huge in they can start taking the NXT group down to Mexico and have characters that will be able to connect with the crowd.

 

Think its the 19th that it starts. But the draft is the 11th

 

I don't know how many of you guys follow The Chris Gethard Show, but the upcoming season finale will be wrestling themed and will feature Colt Cabana, Rhyno, and X-Pac bodyslamming Jon Hamm.

Why does Matanza have a Sidewalk Slam as a finisher? It looks awful. Use the damn sitdown powerbomb.
Sitdown powerbombs should be finishers for big guys. It looks so devastating.

 

Is there gonna be a card bet for the draft too? Lol would be kinda fun even though I dont do that stuff.

 

LU question (spoilering cause I don't know if the show is caught up with what I read):

Wiki lists Mundo as the current LU champ and Bestia, Kobra Moon & Steve Pain as the Trios champs - I thought Mundo was a trios champ? Were these recent changes?

 

Those are the season three results. I fucking hate wiki for ruining that.

Yeah I saw that too one day when I was trying to look up something. Spoiled a bunch for me too.

 

There are some things about that storyline that piss me off so much. I get it though. That guy is a heel and is going to do shitty things to go over. I'm sure watching it play out will be great.

 

I find it funny how Seth Rollins is acting more like a chickenshit than he was before he hurt his leg and is directly throwing harsh stuff at his fans with stuff like how he burned the fan mail without even opening it, and he is still more over than Roman Reigns. Really says a lot about how Vince isn't really in touch with his fans anymore. I personally wouldn't even mind Roman being in the IC title scene but he can't be the face of the company. At least John Cena gets cheered and he can actually wrestle. Plus he tries to change it up a bit, as bad as his springboard stunner was he at least tried to make his moveset a little less stale. Roman however is incapable of doing anything good besides the drive-by and he doesn't care enough to try something new.

 

Five, assuming Andrade's debut will include a match.

The persona from Seth in the doc is so different than what we have seen on Raw so far. I'm not talking about babyface/heel, but just the attitude about getting his title back is different. After watching that doc you'd think he'd come out and just wreck shit until he got it back.

His first Raw appearance wasn't bad but this past Monday was awful for him.

 

I love how fair Steve Austin was about the Ricochet/Ospreay match on his podcast today.

I'm heavily paraphrasing but the gist of it was "not my favorite type of wrestling style, and it might of been more of a spectacle or performance art than a wrestling match, but it was absolutely incredible for what it was. How they did some of those spots is beyond me. The athleticism, timing, and precision were 10/10, but if they would've added in about 5 extra minutes of selling it would have made it absolutely epic. If I ran a wrestling company I would definitely hire both of these guys, i'd give them some input and fix a few things but i'd hire them."

Like Jericho he made it a point to compare it to Dynamite Kid/Tiger Mask.

 

All part of the "make Roman look strong" plan I'm sure.

The rumored MITB card looks like horse shit.

 

AJ/Cena, Roman/Seth, and the ladder match could all be really good matches
