Call me crazy but I think AJ goes over Cena, may give him the KO treatment though of winning once and losing twice.

Would be pretty shitty for AJ to lose 4 PPVs in a row.

 

Just catching up on RAW with YouTube and wtf is with that camera on the AJ/Cena segment? We get it, you can shake it up and down to make it look more "effective" but Jesus that was just too much.

 

#Grateful that I missed a good chunk of Raw due to my natural ability to fall asleep anywhere

I litteratly fell a sleep after the Rusev stuff, but now I know I didn't miss anything. But AJ/Cena is going to be awesome. But I think it'd be cool if they did the Club/New Day and Cena at MITB.

 

cena and enzo/cass? He mentioned being excited to work with them when he got back.

 

That would be cool and it'd be a high profile match for Enzo/Cass.

 

The Seth Rollins doc is the most babyface thing ever

 

I'm watching the Seth Rollins documentary and that story about him and AJ is awesome.

 

I'd actually really like to sit in on a WWE creative meeting to hear what goes on.

I think it's really apparent that no one gives a shit about Roman as champion. Sure, he's got a following of fans, but there's no way the crowd is split 50/50. Hell, look at the Cena/AJ segment. That's why Cena's so good. He comes out to boos, then the crowd is split, yet by the end of the segment AJ's the one with a ton of heat. Roman's not even close to that level. If you're gonna be a "polarizing" figure, you've gotta be good at controlling the crowd. He's no Cena and I don't think he ever will be.

Sure, he's put on 2 solid matches with AJ at the last 2 PPVs. But his character absolutely sucks. Poor Seth is out there trying to do anything to get the crowd to hate him, and it's not gonna work. How long is this gonna go on before WWE realizes that maybe it's time to abandon the next 5 years they've drawn out and go with what's hot? It's like they learned nothing from the Daniel Bryan saga.

 

Especially since its not like Steph has had this magical face turn and is super over.

Actually, that will make this segment even worse. Because it is clearly angling Steph as a face, and so how does them having a match help anyone? Charlotte doenst need more heel heat, and the last woman that needs a push is Steph. We dont need two mediocre people on the mic, and the resultant shitty match, when it buries every other woman on the roster.

And what, is Steph gonna go over Charlotte? Or is she actually gonna get her come-uppance for once (but, from heel Charlotte?). There's already no chance for logic in that storyline aside from Sasha demolishing both of them.

But Steph's writing a book, so we'll bury the whole womens division and pretend she's all about female empowerment!

 

Holy crap that Reigns segment was brutal. Might be the worst yet.

And the AJ turn was fine. I liked it. For some reason I have a little bit of hope that Cena will put him over.

 

Creative has to work around Vince's ideas. He has the ultimate say. Lots and lots of ideas are constantly getting vetoed by him.

 

No doubt in my mind Vince has vetoed a ton of great ideas. But let's not forget Trips is pretty much hell bent to get Roman over, I don't see this experiment being over anytime soon.

 

Sorry you HAVE to hate him now.... smh.

 

AJ heel turn was actually quite good imo, wish they did a bit more with the runbacks then just punching John though, bring a chair in there, deliver some shots and a Styles Clash (Though maybe they'll save the clash for the move).

They could do New Day/Cena vs The Club for MTB if Cena isn't healthy enough for singles competition yet with Cena/Styles for Summerslam.

 

I can absolutely see WWE using Cena to help get Finn over when he debuts. BC destruction of Cena leads to a Finn rescue at some point down the line.

But I agree on New Day/Cena vs. BC at MITB. They'll probably hold off Cena/Styles for a bit and milk it.

 

Did they explain the weird hatch tweets last night? Or did they just hope we'd forget about it?

I skimmed through the episode so I may have missed it.
