I believe he did receive a Dana Brooke headpat so her curse is still going strong. Hopefully the curse doesn't hold true on the main roster or else that means Becky Lynch is next!

 

John Cena is hosting the ESPYs in July. Wonder how long it'll be until he steps away like The Rock did, he is getting more and more gigs.

 

Gotta get the belt that last time and I think he'll bow out.

 

I'd be cool with that. And I don't mean that from a "I hate John Cena, get him out of here!" standpoint. I just feel like if they really want to push this "New Era" bit, then continuing to go back to big stars from the previous eras (Cena/Orton/Kane/etc) just seems detrimental after a while.

 

Cena's gonna kill it hosting the ESPYs. Could be a really big deal for WWE as a whole too if it goes well.

 

It's great to see the relationship between the two companies expanding so much recently. Between the Tuesday night segments/interviews on Sportscenter, ESPN doing live coverage from WM this year, and now this. Def heading in a good direction.

 

It just adds more legitimacy from the mainstream to the WWE product, too.

 

Seeing as Becky hasnt won a singles match since 2 months ago today...the curse may be real for her

 

I agree with this but I think having Orton and Cena for another couple years will be crucial while the newer guys continue to develop. I'm not saying have them in the title picture the entire time, but having them work matches with the "new era" guys will help facilitate the transition.

 

Yep, that standoff with Cena was key for KO. The pop he got on his debut was like, 5% of the audience cheering. Orton's a nice counter balance for a face you want to push...Cena/Orton can even come out on top in the feud, and the new guys can look strong
