I think it might end up being the night after ER if he is in good condition. The pop he gets calling out the new champs on Raw is gonna be HUGE.

yeah concussions are pretty tricky as you can get cleared in a couple weeks after, but also a couple months. it is honestly hard to say. and you have to look at the concussion history of the person as well.

 

They were big right out of the gate. That injury must have ready sidetracked the plans. All the stuff with Cass they've been doing seems so out of place.

 

This only benefits Cass. He looks like he learned how to read last week so the time they are giving him is a huge help. People are seeing what he is capable of and it works. It's important that they build these guys up for their inevitable win in Brooklyn. If it doesn't start now, the package will feel rushed.

 

It seems like he has an earpiece in and at some point there is a writer on the end going "alright! Quick! Cut to the SAWFT bit!!!" in a panic haha.

 

It was funny at first, but now they just keep going in circles. One guy wants to team up, the other doesn't, then they switch. Even in the match last night, they still keep building tension between them.

 

Def. It really does feel like he's just reading each promo. Even his delivery of the lines before spelling out Sawft is so much weaker than it used to be.

 

I'm kinda hoping Dash and Dawson get called up after they finish up with American Alpha, but the tag division is looking pretty heel heavy already.

 

wasn't last night a clear step forward? they are officially a team now but they're dysfunctional, both because of the new-ness and because they don't trust each other after the past few months

 

That changed last night though.

 

New Day have roughly 70 days left to overtake Paul London and Brian Kendrick as longest reign as tag team champions. I'd imagine they're gonna give it to ND first before having them lose the belts.

 

yeah its honestly confusing with what creative is doing with that story line, going back and forth on being a team is getting old. i wouldn't mind them finally just going all in and adding to the tag division as its not like any of them have any direction at this point anyways.

 

Yeah I guess it was by the end of their backstage promo, but even still the buildup to this team took way too long to care about anymore. I guess that's more of what I was getting at.

That is true. Think they keep him and Fandango together going forward, or just using them to further the Golden Truth storyline along?

 

I'm convinced he'll return to a babyface pop, be face for a week or two, then turn back to his heel shtick. He's too good at being a heel, and that's something WWE is lacking right now.

 

I wish this would stop being a thing that matters, because it doesn't.

 

Seriously. Records mean nothing in a company with predetermined matches. lol

 

I'd be into that. It probably wouldn't last long though since the Authority angle is inevitable.

 

They probably view it akin to a winning streak in professional sports

 

It's even more stupid since this current iteration of the tag titles has been around for like 10-12 years, the last title they made a big deal over a record is the Divas title which is now retired, and the WHC "record" will never be broken.

Every time "so and so is close to breaking the record" is brought up I cringe.

 

Yeah but it still allows them to pick and choose who does hold the record, even if it is a fake record. Just allows them the opportunity to have decorated teams or wrestlers secure those records.

 

The problem with The New Day is that they crossing over into that range where their gimmick takes over their actual in ring credentials.

 

As long as WWE keeps pushing it, the casual fan is gonna care about it. That makes it worth complaining about!!!!!! I'm still mad about AJ!!!!!!
