True. I mean the company seems to be in a rebuilding stage.

 

The thing for me with "The Club" is that it seems pretty obvious to bring these guys in as a dominant heel faction. They were essentially debuted that way with their initial run ins. Ever since that first week or two though, they've been booked very questionably to say the least. They're not putting away tag teams easily like they should be. They get dominated single handedly by Roman Reigns. When they come out to interfere, the Usos immediately even things out and put things back to a one-on-one scenario. I just feel like the likely endings to this storyline (Finn aligning with them or just simply turning on AJ at Extreme Rules or both?) will feel so less meaningful because it's hard to take them seriously at this point. Who knows? Maybe they've got something completely different lined up and will shock us all, but at this point the dominant heel faction seems almost out of the question.

 

can't make Roman look weak. The kids will get upset

The angle isn't bad right now, but unfortunately in order for it to reach potential, AJ needs to come out as the #2 babyface of the company, and the start of Reigns as the #1 heel of the company needs to start.

 

yeah i can't complain about the feuds and angles they have going right now, but it also doesn't have me that invested either. styles/reigns is fine as long as neither cut long promos. im actually looking forward to the intercontinental match at extreme rules.

 

I think Extreme Rules has potential to be a decent PPV like Payback was (it's also the first PPV I'm ever going to see live so I'm selfishly hoping it's amazing! haha). Even though I'm not feeling the main event storyline, they did put on a great match at Payback and I don't see why they can't do that again. And yeah, there's no reason why that fatal 4 way for the IC title doesn't steal the show.

 

cause Miz is going to walk out as champ. I have tickets to extreme rules too, but this is part 2 of filler PPV's, so i'm expecting a ton of similar results

 

I told my mom to get ROH tickets over Extreme Rules. Curious whether I made the right choice.

 

The result of a match doesn't necessarily determine the quality of the match though. Like I hated the ending to the main event at Payback, but that didn't take away from the fact that the match itself was a lot of fun.

 

The fact they teased Finn by having him dump the title, then didnt pull the trigger at Payback, makes me think they are saving it for something bigger. They've got Takeover as well in there to build to something.

But the way they've built AJ/Gallows/Anderson, you're right, they arent dominant in any way. So itd basically take Finn joining them for them to get that kind of angle

 

Vince confirmed today that Orton, Bray, Rollins, and Cena will all be back in the next thirty days.

if it is actually 30 days that is right in the middle of the MITB build up

 

I would LOVE a Rollins or Bray return at Extreme Rules, but honestly at this point, I'd just be thrilled enough with an Enzo appearance that night. Hometown crowd and all.

 

The people who have watched bullet club in NJPW and elsewhere for the last few years will be disappointed at whatever WWE is going to do with 'the club' for two reasons: 1) It's WWE, and their cohesive storytelling is questionable at best; 2) WWE isn't the hip, cool, non-mainstream (in America) wrestling organization like NJPW/ROH/LU, etc. It's like seeing your favorite independent band get a major label deal then languishing on that label.

 

As someone who had never watched ROH before and went to the show last night, you probably made the right choice. The show was awesome.

 

Those returns have me even more excited for MITB. My first live ppv.

Oh for sure. The show I went to a few months ago was one of the best live experiences I've ever had.

 

How do I watch ROH? And what is a good match to get me interested in the current storylines? I've never watched before but you guys hype it up so much I need to check it out.

 

What happened to ROH's tv deal? They were on that channel TNA used to be on, like right after TNA I think.

 

Just realized that Bray has been on the main roster for almost 3 years now and still has not won a title. Unbelievable

 

ROH used to be on Destination America with TNA, but I think it was around December that they changed to a different station. Comet, I think. It's not available in every market, including mine :( Now I go on rohwrestling.com to watch the weekly show for free. You can only stream the most current episode for free though. To stream prior episodes you need to subscribe to their membership program.

 

This site has a weekly schedule at the top of it for all of the shows they stream live.
