Didn't realize they put out two videos this week.

 

Steph is fine, I think the scrutiny of her promos is a tad overboard and screams of fans getting worked that she is putting herself over.

Only critique I really agree with is her slapping around male talent with no real comeuppance (Though Roman did get a spear in at WM)

My problem is heel authority figures has been the norm since more or less the attitude era.

 

Quite a difference between disparaging someones ring work and there character.

Also quite a lofty comparison to compare someones heel work to Heenan, everyone comes off looking lackluster to him.

Steph is okay, but if she stopped being on screen forever I would be okay with that. She has legitimate talent, but she's been more annoying than compelling for some time now.

 

This is a ridiculous statement, but fine. Did Heenan ever talk about Hogan's steroid use? Doesn't really change my argument at all.

Steph gets no comeuppance for anything and it's been that way forever. She's different from every other heel, and in a very bad way.

If Steph being a detriment to every program and segment that she has a major role in is "working" then.... lol, congrats - she sucks.

Yep, and at least early on (just after the marriage), people could take the cheap shots at her. Like Jericho's stuff while feuding with her. Vince's character keeps working because he'll make himself look dumb if it advanced a story.

Steph, not so much. And HHH fits right in there...he waited about a month too long to actually do heel work in his Reigns/WM build
