I kind of really love the old-school ideology of dropping the main title at a house show. Totally unexpected and also makes me interested in Finn's character for the first time in a long while. I'm just going to assume he goes main roster and Joe drops the title to Shinsuke within the next couple months. No matter what happens, though, I think this was a great step in progressing NXT as a television program and a touring entity. Interested in where Roode will end up in all of this when he chooses to sign.

 

Fittingly boring end to what was an extremely snoozeworthy title reign. Not completely Finn's fault, but Joe really never got built up the way Sami, KO or even Finn himself did as they climbed the mountain for the title.

 

So on Monday or at Payback, Finn is coming up right? If it's at Payback, Roman ends up being a part of the Bullet/Balor Club, and I'm honestly not opposed to this.

 

i dont think roman is a part of anything if they're calling finn up, roman'll retain and move on to whatever he's doing next

 

Fuuuuuck. Guess I have to start watching ROH.

 

Roman being anything other than an occasional foil to the BC story is puke.

 

You could maybe convince me a title change at a house show was cool but not when it blatantly telegraphs what's coming next. Puke city.

 

I'm suddenly more motivated to get tickets to NXT Jacksonville for tomorrow...

 

Any guesses on how Mr. Balor debuts on main roster? Feel like it's gotta head the direction of Gallows and Anderson deciding between Styles and Balor right? Man I'm so excited for this, but also pumped for Joe carrying the title in NXT. He is so damn good

Not saying i'm for or against this happening, and not saying this is something that's very possible, just throwing a hypothetical situation out there: The Shield reunites to take on Bullet Club, would you guys be into that? Yes, no, maybe?

 

I'm almost 100% positive that Shield vs BC will happen. Have BC running roughshod for a few months, independently feuding with Roman, Dean and Seth (upon his return), and then have two members save the other when they are being assaulted, bam Shield reunion.

 

I'm fine with it happening eventually. Maybe towards the end of the year.

 

i would say later in the year at earliest would be ideal for me.

 

Survivor Series seems like the right time

 

Survivor Series seems a bit quick. That's only four months from now and when is Seth likely to return? August?

 

Seth is rumored for May.. SS is normally in november that's 6 months out.

 

My friend and I were speculating Shield/BC the other day. Survivor Series would be a good place to do it, but WWE would probably rush it beforehand.

 

Finn said, "See you Monday" to a group of fans. He's known to be a little bit of a troll, so who knows.

 

I was thinking Survivor Series as well but then I remembered that they threw together their SS match the week of the PPV last year so there's no way they're planning it months in advance.
