Funny part is that the NXT title now hasnt changed hands at a taped NXT event in over a year. Since KO dropped it to Balor at Beast In the East.

 

This has gotta line up Joe/Nakamura. Can't wait for those matches.

 

And IIRC, Beast in the East was live, just super early in the morning because of the time difference.

Unless the plan is to move up Joe by Summerslam, then actually I'd say they should hold off on Nakamura. Go instead with Crews or Balor's rematch into Takeover:Revenge. And then go Nakamura through the summer

 

Yeah, I've been wondering if Balor will get a rematch. No point in one though if he's about to jump to the main roster.

 

Love the direction with it. Totally unexpected and Finn loses the title without the demon.

Camera setup or not, I think it's garbage to have at title change at a house show.

 

How is it any different from other orgs that do it? And the WWE did it a bunch through the 90's.

I like the idea of title changes at life events. It makes kayfabe sense. They promote live events so why shouldn't you believe that a title can change hands at one.

 

And I meant live events

 

As someone that has been going to NXT house shows about once a month, I love this. Doubt they'd ever do something like that at the typical "B-Squad" shows we get though.

 

Just read the dirtsheet news about Chris Hero also returning to ROH soon. So fucking pumped for that, probably more than I am for Cabana returning.
