I was just reading an article about how Anderson and Gallows could be like double agents. Make Roman think they are there for him. Then when he gets complacent, have him get betrayed (just like the Shield move) with Finn there laughing.

There is tons of potential in this story.

I love how Anderson and Gallows wore the same cloths again lol.

 

Sounds like they wasted about 20mins of the ep on Ryback/Kalisto, Fandango/R-Truth, and another Epico promo video. Makes the one throw-away womens tag match so absurd. Becky and Sasha have wrestled a total of 1 singles match in the 3 weeks since WM. Why at the very least aren't Lana, Summer Rae, Emma, etc battling for a chance to move up.

edit: Though I did just see Emma cant travel cause of her record...so, that explains a bit why her and Becky got put on hold

 

I wonder if Lana still has all that heat that was rumored. Maybe they only put her in the WM match cause they needed too. Maybe that heat has carried over to Rusev too.

 

Can't wait to see McGregor cutting promos in wwe

I'm glad to hear so many people on board with this! I posted something about this on another wrestling forum, thinking people were going to shit on it, but I've seen this idea floating around and seen some support for it. Now what does that all mean? Jack shit haha. But yeah, I'm 100% on board with Anderson/Gallows joining with Reigns.

 

Are either of them great on the mic? Roman needs so badly to have a guy like Dean advocating for him and pushing promos. His in-ring work has been solid, but man...these fuck the world promos he's try to cut just come off like hes reading cue cards

 

No clue actually. It's true he needs a mouthpiece more, but the WWE seems to have forgotten the lost art of "managers" lately, so I think it's really up to him.

 

Joining up with Reigns would not work. You'd have 25% of people like domo who are all for it, a bunch who don't really care and the rest would hate it.

Roman needs to get over in a non-pandering, non-biting way.

 

Yeah I'm really not sure how fans would react to Gallows and Anderson backing Reigns. Probably not well at all. It'd be too clear what they're trying to do with it and fans wouldn't buy it I don't think.

I do love though that we're about two and a half months away from the 20th anniversary of the formation of the NWO and we're in a situation now where there's an invading duo from another promotion and fans are debating who the "third man" will be.

The best way WWE could use McGregor if they are indeed going to use him is a run of highly publicized guest spots similar to what Mike Tyson did in 1998. I really don't want to see him do anything beyond that. Have absolutely no interest seeing him being carried in a bad one off match like Amell, LT, or Mayweather.

People speculating that he'll actually be a full time wrestler is just incredibly unrealistic, do you really think the guy would go from being one of the top stars in MMA to spending a year or more slumming it in the PC learning how to wrestle? Remember Shawne Merriman tried that and only lasted a few months before he bounced.

 

Finally ordered my first set of PWG DVD's yesterday. I've seen gifs/clips from various PWG events for a long time, but have never watched a full event. I'm excited to finally check it out for real. Ordered an anthology from back in 2006 (9 DVDs for $35) and Night One of BOLA 2015. Figured I'd get a bit of the old and a bit of the new.

 

You are in for a treat. Seriously, be excited. I can't speak for 2006, but I've watched everything from 2012 onwards, and it's pound for pound the most fun I've had with a series, be it video game/book/TV/movie/otherwise, in a couple of years.

 

I think most people are still trying to find ways to get Reigns to be heel. A few weeks ago I thought that ship had sailed, but I think this whole "Roman Empire" thing...there's something there. I was just thinking, along with a few other internet dweebs like myself, that giving Roman two internet darlings would be far better than giving him someone like the Usos. It would create sympathy for AJ (who's establishing himself as a top babyface in the company) as well and add to Roman's heat.

I see a lot of positives. I'm not seeing the negatives. I'm also only bringing this up because it does feel like something in this realm IS going to happen.

 

BOLA 2015 was incredible, the first night had some really great matchups, you're gonna love it.

 

This reminds me I still need to order Lemmy and Bowie before ASW 12 comes out.
