It was totally for the fucking Snicker's commercial, and I love it.

 

When is the next set of NXT tapings?

 

I am into the Vauds since I like silent films and vaudeville, but I can see why they wouldn't get a lot of pops. Maybe if they signed Bobby Fish as their manager in the persona of a heel ringmaster of a freakshow. He already has the mustache for the gimmick. Jk

 

Can we say he was buried for a damn Snickers commercial? I back the writers in this decision.

 

Vaudevillians were never ever going to work on the main roster. Its too weird and gimmicky to get over as legitimate wrestlers for today's audience no matter how well they pull it off. They'll probably fall into the Santino role eventually which will a good fit for them anyway.

Corbin on the main roster still feels weird to me. I really wanted to see him have a run with the NXT title

 

That was my thought. I'd rather them than Golden Truth. Lots of room to work with with their gimmick. But odds that they ever win tag titles is pretty low.

 

They just need to ease up on being so damn gimmicky.

 

I thought Ryder winning was a way to get the belt on Miz without having to involve KO in a feud.

hahaha, so they gave how much time to Golden Truth for them to not actually even compete in the tourney?

 

I genuinely enjoyed the Golden Truth promos. I will never genuinely enjoy a Golden Truth wrestling match.

 

Most of the golden truth build was hot garbage... only a few half-way decent jokes that managed to get even the slightest chuckle out of me.

 

I enjoy hot garbage humor every now and then

 

Outside of Enzo and Cass, whose debut was a long time coming, the other NXT call ups were odd choices. The Vaudevillains' gimmick isn't something that will work well on the main roster, most likely (and they'll almost certainly be pushed to the side with E&C and Bullet Club being higher profile tag team debuts), I felt like Corbin deserved a NXT belt run or at least a good NXT belt chase before he got called up and Crews is good but still needs some work.

 

They had some funny moments (though I preferred R-Truth's "what event is this?" gimmick before), but, the fact that it didnt go anywhere is probably the worst part of the build to WM. They could have spent all that time giving the women in that 10-Diva some 5min matches. And then maybe people would have believed Lana could wrestle, for example.

edit: Or they could have moved all those Main Event matches to Raw mid-show.

 

Vaudevillains were likely called up in large part to fill out the tag team tournament. Not sure why they didn't include Bullet Club as actual entrants in the tournament, but that'll hopefully get explained a bit more as the tournament goes on.

 

The Vaudevillains can work, but i agree with whomever said a manager would be ideal. A dickish ringmaster type guy. I think it has potential. It doesn't help that the guys themselves look kinda....small.

It's crazy how quick they were able to make Cage a super over face on LU. Also crazy how I completely changed my opinion of him. He's crazy impressive in ring for a meat head.

 

Evidently he comes out in Trump supporting gear in AAA, ridiculous. That video is too damn funny though.

Also Adam Rose and Konnor both got 60 day suspensions for wellness violations.

 

Vauds were really good for awhile but it seems like the heads just stopped focusing on them as a whole. They still have good matches and work their ridic gimmick well.

 

One does not simply not cheer the vaudevillians
