Apollo definitely could have used more time in NXT.

 

Isn't the whole point of NXT supposed to be giving him time to work on it though?

It is. Which is why I'm surprised he's on Raw so soon.

 

I wish he was using the Uhaa Combination as his finisher instead of that powerbomb.

 

If these Puerto Rico vignettes don't end with the return of Carlito then what's the point. Not saying these guys should lose their jobs but why put more effort into getting them over again

 

He was using that as his finisher in NXT for a while but I still feel like it's not impressive to put someone away. Hell of a move for mid match near falls though. Again, I really like the guy but I just wish there was more force behind his finishers

 

Pretty sure Triple H was the one behind that powerbomb. Think it was part of a Breaking Ground episode

In NXT, he wasn't doing the full combination. He did the Gorilla Press into the standing moonsault, but only did the standing shooting star press, like once.


That being said, I'm a huge fan of Apollo Crewes, but I agree it is a little soon for him. Even in NXT, it didn't seem like they had decided on a clear direction for him or his character, and that has carried over to the main roster.

 

HHH told him to use the powerbomb. Can't blame him.

 

Funniest part is they arent even in the tag tourney...so they are coming back to what? Be the 9th or 10th most important tag team?

 

It actually isn't though. The point of NXT is to sell people on the network. Calling Crews up while people like Samoa Joe stay down makes that abundantly clear. Putting Crews on raw/smackdown will also give them more time to talk about NXT there too.

 

wish they would give him more options. Too many powerbombs.

Its 11 and LoN isnt even in the ring. This is gonna be a short match filled with garbage

Okay this match was actually pretty good.

 

So going to my girlfriends has cost me Shane's return, Sami's official call up, and now the Bullet Club debut. Lucky I love her and I didn't miss Enzo's/Big Cass's debut last week.

I'm still confused though. AJ is the #1 contender and the show ends with a Reigns/Wyatt stare-down.
