Because he has a natural charisma on the microphone which combines intensity with a quick witted sarcasm. He couples that with the agility of some of the great big men in the history of the company like Bam Bam Bigelow with moonsaults. He can be booked against big or small opponents, make them look good, make himself look good and put over a story any way that you need: promo, in-ring, commentary, whatever. His work not resonating with a wrestling fan is quite shocking, IMO, and you're way, way, way in the minority of people that don't like KO.
