Also, to everyone loving Mark Andrews, just want to point out that TNA had him signed and didn't do much with him.

 

Does anyone have details on the upcoming weekly UK show? I've cut out dirtsheets entirely, and only browse the front page of wreddit for extracurricular wrasslin' info. Haven't seen anything. I am chomping at the bit for a weekly hour of guys that are fresh to me. I doubt that they go balls out and book that beautiful ballroom for weekly TV, but assuming they run the NXT model of 4 shows to a taping, maybe they could work something out.

 

TNA doesn't do a whole lot with the entire X division nowadays. So underutilized.

 

Yeah, they had Ospreay for a brief stint while they taped a bunch of shows in the UK and they exclusively jobbed him out. Foolishness.

 

Also, this show made me want to travel more. I am an architecture nerd and paused a few times just to admire the venue.

 

It's a bummer that they've ruined the X-Division. Giving the belt to Lashley basically killed any momentum Eddie or Trevor Lee had given it.

 

What surprises me the most about Tyler Bate is how good he is despite his age. He was the most fun for me to watch because he's just so damn entertaining. He even has ring psychology figured out pretty well. If that's just at 19, I can only imagine how he'll be in five years

My only complaint is that you shouldn't be doing three airplane spins with a separated shoulder. That's not great selling.

 

I agree that Bate rules, but I just really wasn't into the blank faced waving to the crowd after matches.

 

They wanted that. He was literally feeding into the crowd. lol

 

I get that they ate it up, but it wasn't for me. When he won, Cole seemed to be about 10x more excited than Bates himself lol.

 

Just watched the semi-finals and finals. I agree with what everyone else has been saying. Dunne was great and I hope we see more of him soon. He is the perfect heel.

 

Was anyone else here a part of the 2K14 or 15 "league" we had on AP? We would like, play matches against each other on a "show", and some folks would record themselves with like iPhones and cut promos. I mained Heath Slater and did far too well. I can't remember who was commish, but remember cozysocks/Chad being a part of it (RIP). Good times.

 

Please everyone sign up for PROGRESS's streaming service. So worth it. If you're worried about it, use PWP99CENTS and just watch it for a month for under a buck. You can easily crank out a decent amount of shows in a few weeks and they'll have another new one up in a few days.

 

Yeah you're right about that. I think the airplane spin could have definitely been taken out of the finals. But still, everything about Tyler Bate gets me hyped now lol
