great match to finish the first round. tucker is fantastic in the ring, but sorta charismaless. but really fun show

tyler bate became a star during that show. i think mandrews vs devlin is the finals after that. stoked for tomorrow

 

No way Mandrews is in the final. Its def gonna be two strong style guys. Mandrews will definitely move to the Cruiserweight division if this goes well for him. He would basically laterally moving from the X-Division to the CW division. lol

 

firet time watching any of those guys other than Burch, and coming out of it, Gate and Devlin were my favorites. So of course they'll face each other next round

 

Except now people will actually watch him

 

The more I think about it, the more I see a lot of Sami Callihan in Pete Dunne. Curious to see if the WWE ruins him too.

Wow that was pretty great. Wasn't familiar with Dunne (or basically anyone besides Mark Andrews) going into this tournament, but he was def one of the stand outs. The thing that stood out the most to me is that he is a true heel. Like I truly hate this guy now and want him to lose tomorrow. And that's a good thing in my mind. Guy knows his character/role extremely well and executes it flawlessly.

 

Yeah, its incredible that they are setting up some compelling storylines to build on the weekly. I'm going to guess Dunne goes over and his the guy he beat down is going to be either the first big challenger for the belt or the guy who eventually wins it off of him. Really excited for the future of this.

i didn't really check out or care for the CWC at all, but something about this whole UK tournament package... i'm 100% into this! The venue + regal + mcguiness + variety of styles...it's all just so much fun to watch. I'm sure the CWC was fun too, but this just grabbed my attention so much more off the bat. I definitely have a few favorites and a few i'm 'eh' about.


and also LMAO at them doing WWE.com exclusive stuff, even during this! I can't believe how much the wwe cares about wwe.com traffic. it fucking boggles my mind

 

Is this going to be an actual "belt"? I hope not. I'd rather they treat these tournament as trophies and accomplishment, like the king of the ring, rather than a winnable belt that can transfer on the main roster.
