Very strange how they've handled that division. There was so much momentum with the Wyatt's as champs. Now they're teasing an Orton/Harper feud way too soon and it's actually taking away Alpha's legitimacy as champs because the side story is getting more attention than the actual champs.

 

I'm fairly certain Ryder getting hurt sped up the timeline on the rise of AA and downfall of the Wyatts. What I don't get is why they didn't give the Breezango the filler feud Hype Bros were supposed to have instead of rushing things.

 

I think the biggest issue was Ryder going down. I think we probably had a few matches between those two before AA went over. I highly doubt the plan was for them to win it so soon. It just makes no sense to have them go over on a random Smackdown.

 

It's just weird an Orton-Bray feud turned into Orton/Wyatts as tag champs and now it's morphing into an Orton-Harper feud. It doesn't make sense. All of it seems like a waste of time for each character.

 

Like, why the hell hasn't Bray received any type of push? He finally gets a belt and they scrap it from him on a random SD and then turn the attention to Harper and Orton. They have ruined him. He's becoming more and more irrelevant as time passes and it's not his fault.

 

especially cause didn't they originally a triple threat between like, Breeze, Slater and someone from the ascension to determine the new #1 contender team? And then they just randomly scrapped it and went with the fourway elimination match?

 

It almost seemed to me like they are setting up a face turn for Bray. Harper and Randy certainly had a moment after Harper accidentally kicked Bray were Harper was like "damn that actually felt kinda good" and Randy was like "yeah you feeling me?". Certainly wouldn't mind him using this feud to kickstart a singles career and fill the void Dolph left for a face at the top of the midcard/even main eventing sometimes.

 

another smooth smackdown.... and i think i just witnessed the WORST JOBBER IVE EVER SEEN tonight with that CJ Lunde girl. holy crap, i thought these indie workers were supposed to be decent at work rate, at the very least, they could get in and out of the ring. This woman was SO slow! AWFUL AWFUL.

 

Not sure if this is the same person, but if it is, she's pretty bad.

 

Kelly Klein is a stud tho.

Emma finally got a new entrance song for her Emmalina gimmick.

 

Yeah, they are clearly going somewhere longer term with orton/harper/wyatt. Whether its Randy getting Luke to turn on Bray, or Bray turning on Luke, or what. Im willing to give SD the benefit of the doubt that they are speeding up a slow burn they had planned.

But that tag division is fucked. Breeezango, VV, Ascension are all useless. Which means its AA v Usos feuds for the next 6 months til they figure something else out

 

So, how quickly til she becomes the valet for the Shining Stars? That theme is a direct variation...

And the dead silence it got is funny. The pop for Sasha made it so clear nobody gave a damn about Emmalina

 

But Emma's last song was absolutely perfect.

Emma's last persona was perfect too.

 

Breezango could actually be a very solid comedy team if they pushed them on anything else besides the youtube videos.

 

I really hope neither of them are up for release come WM.

 

Pretty interesting bit about what happened when Neville got injured. Speaks a lot to how matches work too.

 

The Crazy Alicia character might be the funniest thing WWE has. This one is even funnier than when Nia shoved her in that segment

 

I loved everything about this segment. The way that the mics fucked up was so awesome.

It's so crazy because I think the story is complete shit, but I'm so entertained by it. It thought I didn't want drama on 205 Live, but i was wrong.

 

Alicia is definitely the most underutilized woman WWE has. Athletic, sells well, totally comfortable in whatever role they give her, and also beautiful and a PoC.

 

The reverse STO before the Code of Silence was such a mess. It looked like the two of them were going in complete opposite directions. Don't think we'll be seeing her in a WWE ring again anytime soon.
