  1. Balor v Owens is a feud that'd make sense and would be capable of putting on a phenomenal match.

I feel like Rollins and AJ is the only one that really works for me. I'm so sick of Rollins getting title shots though. We already know Rollins is getting Trips.

Balor and Owens wasn't great in NXT, so I don't see things changing.

I'd love AJ vs. Zayn, but That build should have been happening already.

  3. Rollins v HHH in a street fight or something like that is going be awesome.

They could go in several different directions for all the other big named guys. They've done such a poor job up to this points it's hard to predict what will happen.

The craziest thing is that nothing is really set in stone. They are shuffling stories a lot. Wouldn't be surprised if the winner of the Rumble isn't set in stone until the day of.

What if Vince told Kenny he'd have him win the Rumble and headline Wrestlemania? Sounds like his calendar just opened up.

  6. Omega v Styles?

Stahhhhhppppppp. I can't handle the thought.

  8. Isn't Cole supposed to be signing with WWE?

I'm currently subscribed to WWE network, NJPWWorld, and Progress'a streaming service. I don't know if I'll be able to financially keep up with subscribing to all three throughout the year, but I'm gonna try. Can't cancel any of them anytime soon. Was thinking of getting rid of WWE but with the U.K. Tourney in a couple of weeks, Rumble, WM around the corner, and developments with NXT, can't do it.

To think two years ago I couldn't have cared less about wrestling.

  11. How much is NJPW subscription?

Cole will probably go to NXT first, right? Wonder if they'll bring him and Kyle along similar to what they did with Sami and Kevin.

Around 8.50 a month. Fluctuates a couple cents based on the exchange rate.

  14. That's not bad. I may start watching. I'm usually impressed with their matches.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Everything I've read points to him still being signed in New Japan for the rest of the year

Is that when you first got into it, or did you watch as a kid?

With this revelation by WWE creative of wanting to put on a great match to main event WM, you think they're upping their offer to Shawn to get that Michaels/AJ match?

  18. Gotta remember, to Vince, Reigns v _______ is a 5* match

When I was real little my Dad was big into WCW and I remember loving the Steiner brothers and going to his friends house to watch PPVs, but he stopped watching when I was like 7 and so did I.

I watched the 2015 Royal Rumble on a whim that night cause I was going through a lot of personal shit and there was nothing else on and it hooked me. That triple threat (Rollins/Lesnar/Cena) was amazing, but DBry's pop as a return surprise entrant sold it for me. Instantly fell in love.

That's really cool that you were able to invest yourself in it like that. I'm always so interested to hear from people who got into wrestling in their adult life rather than the mostly lifelong thing most fans identify with. Truly a testament to the power wrestling can have (particularly when it's good)

That would be very WWE, to take that lesson from watching two 30-ish young stars give it their all and decide a 51yr old dude is what they need.

I think it means they know Goldberg/Lesnar shouldnt main event WM. It should go 2nd to last, and then something like AJ/Cena should main event in a 30-40min war

I agree, but Shawn can still probably go. AJ would want it. At this point I don't know what the build for it would be especially with AJ on SD. AJ deserves that spot though.

And not to play devil's advocate, but isn't Suzuki, Okada's next feud, around 50 years old?

  23. I don't think they have a clue what they want to do lol

Goldberg/Lesnar doesn't really excite people like they think it does. But if they put Goldberg against someone else what does Lesnar do?

And what are they doing with Taker? If he wins the Rumble I'll be upset. It'd be a waste. Him v Cena would be cool I guess but I don't know how to set that up.

I have a bad feeling we are going to get Reigns v Goldberg as the main event.

Appreciate it man. Yeah my family and friends were kinda shocked when I started buying tickets/asking for shirts/watching PPVs. Judging by everything I've seen leading up to it, I picked a real good time to become a fan; this past year has been incredible match wise across so many promotions.

    Meltzer:

"If WWE wants him, they will get him unless he doesn't want to work the schedule.

Ibushi didn't want to work the schedule. Sabre wasn't exactly given a monster money offer.

His value has never been higher. The only reason they don't get certain guys is the mentality that we're WWE and people will work twice as many dates for the same or less money because we're WWE, or they are guys really not making big money on the indies.

If they put $750,000 down per year on a three-year deal, I don't see them turning it down, and they could easily afford that nor would it be overpaying to do so. but for most guys, they can get them for a lot less.

I don't know Kenny but I do know WWE doesn't like anyone getting a buzz with another company."

In response to "Do you know what Omega's current contract status is?" he replied on Twitter "Not sure. His old deal expires January 31st."
