Black should go through Takeover: Philly undefeated and then enter the Royal Rumble and move main roster for WM. Doesnt need a title run in there either.

Idk, main roster is bloated as all hell, which is my Summerslam will have 45 matches. NXT needs a dude or two to carry the brand for a while.

True, but, thats what Itami, Hero, Roode, etc are there for. They can lend credibility and put over developing guys eventually. And lets be honest, they arent making a big impact on the main roster if they get called up.

Whereas guys like Gargano/Ciampa, Black...they've all got at least 5+ years in them and a more distinctive look. They should be slingshotting those guys up and having them take the filler spots that are currently wasted on people like Crews, Sin Cara, Bo/Axel, etc...people who have already failed and arent being recuperated.

 

You would think the reasoning of having Ellsworth off tv was so they could give Carmella some time on her own to get heat

Although then again it seems the wwe has given up on all of the women in the past month or so

 

Bringing up extremely talented wrestlers like Black, Itami, Ohno, and Roode to fill the roles that are currently held by Crews, Sin Cara, Bo, and Axel makes no sense. Why would you want those wrestlers in jobber/joke roles, when they can be in the main event in NXT until there is a better opportunity for them on the main roster?

Wouldnt run out the same stories, but, they are nevertheless getting stories. Bo/Axel being part of a stable, and Crews being the starting point for a low-mid card storyline with a veteran.

Wonder why RAW feels like a drag? Because major parts of it rely on guys you know are dead in the water, or who lack the charisma to pull it off.

Those guys dont need more development; they need main roster storylines so that casual fans start recognizing them. Since none of them are gonna get the Balor push, and as Sami showed, it takes months and months before you start getting consistent opportunities there.

 

NXT still needs star power to be a touring brand, which they've made a point that they want to keep doing these NXT tours. Without those bigger names, NXT as a touring brand is dead in the water.

Also, this is WWE. They would roll out the same stories with those people, due to how crowded things are right now. I would rather have coherent and interesting stories in NXT than seeing someone waste away on the main roster.
