I mean its genius if they want Reigns to get booed out of the country at Mania...again. But I feel they could have done it any other way really. Just took the wind out of the sails of the entire match.

guys i won 25 bucks tonight from my rumble pool, cant complain except the match was kinda bad. orton winning was basically known and its shit booking, but thats been wrestlemania season booking for the past 3 years. this time is for all the people who dont watch on a consistent basis. that being said, there has never been a better year to create a new star with all of the returning old dudes and it being in the alamodome and what not. bad choices, but not anything surprising

Brock isn't the underdog here in the traditional sense. He's the most dominant force arguably in WWE history and he's finally got a foe who seems to have his number and is in his head. You're not supposed to believe that Brock can't hang in the ring with Goldberg. His entire career proves that he can. But he finally has a challenger who he needs to figure out.

To keep with the NBA analogy, Brock is essentially the Cavs and Goldberg is the Warriors with a 3-1 lead in the finals. WrestleMania is the final 3 games of the NBA finals

The best thing about that Rumble was Jericho getting beat up and staying down for 5 minutes at a time

 

I'm okay with Orton winning but then I remember...wait... Orton is getting a marquee wrestlemania match in 2017?? Holy fuck why.

Orton being used as a summerslam contender or a transitional champion is fine but Jesus.

And the funny thing is I think we were all totally okay with Jericho winning. The fans were giving the wwe a free pass to let an old star win

I think Bray wins at EC, retains in a "main event" WM match, and holds the belt for a while. I'm perfectly happy with Orton winning in that scenario. Bray deserves it.

Hell I even thought Sami may have won, a Sami vs KO match at WM isn't original but the build up and high stakes would've been worth it.

 

I don't think this necessarily means Tye is getting a call up at this present time. Though, I hope he makes his way to SmackDown. Would be a great asset in a midcard scene that gets the rub from guys who have main event legitimacy like Ambrose.

 

Agree, it wouldn't shock me if it was just a one-off for now

 

Oh and I just remembered aj styles lost....aND charlotte continues to suck the air out of the top baby faces

 

Sami hit Braun with a helluva kick and took a bunch of finishers and other than that pretty much just hung out in the ring all match doing not much of anything. Was actually kinda disappointing.

 

You think that's a better payoff than Bray winning the Rumble and defeating Cena at WM? Not saying I think it is, but curious.

 

Braun interfering in the Owens match makes no sense

 

This Reigns-Taker match is going to be so so so so so bad
