My biggest gripe isn't Orton winning...is he a top 5 choice? Nah. But he's acceptable in the shock department.

But in a ppv where reigns loses his title shot...he still leaves pretty much tall. And!!! He's going to wrestle taker??? He still gets a marquee matchup

 

sami got a pretty big rub from that match. probably did more for him than anyone else

 

Like, what were they thinking when they came up with the idea of Reigns at 30? Everyone knew that spot was going to be someone unannounced. There was so much anticipation for it when the 10 second countdown started. And they did the absolute worst thing possible. It's literally unbelievable.

 

I think Braun and reigns is filler until mania unfortunately

 

I am upset. All the bulid up, and it was probably the worst RR in years.....

 

That's the point. He's just used as a heat magnet. It boosts Orton, and gets people invested in seeing Taker destroy him at WM (like it or not).

The problem is that he's not treated that way on TV.

 

It's so lazy that the guys who they used to build up this match had so little to do with the outcome

 

That's like me saying I just started watching the NBA 6 weeks ago, so how the hell am I supposed to believe that there is a better player in the world than Dion Waiters. History exists for a reason.

Yea they had Corbin eliminate Braun and it led to nothing, a lot of weird booking in that match

I get that they have to build for wrestlemania, but a back and forth between the two longer than thirty seconds probably would have been better. The last two times they have squared off including the RR has lasted 2 minutes tops, so logically shouldn't Goldberg just destroy him again at mania?

 

If the only way to get your royal rumble winner over with the crowd is to get them really pissed at the #30 entrant and then have your royal rumble winner eliminate the, you've fucking picked the wrong royal rumble winner.

This is the "chop off their foot so they won't notice the pain when you stab them in the leg" approach of booking.

 

That's what's like sad and hilarious at the same time. Every person in the arena on their feet, holding their breath, and then... Reigns stumbles in holding his shoulder trying to look like some badass and everyone just throws their arms up in the air. Air let out of a balloon with a big fart noise at the end.

 

One things for sure. Reigns really gets the little kid fan in me out. I almost cried when reigns music hit

with two brands/belts the rumble should be fuckup-proof, you have infintely more freedom than normal
