It feels like the released card means titles aren't changing hands which is kind of a letdown

 

Guess that means Dolph is about to enter another feud that he loses

 

Titles could easily change hands between now and then, ex. Nak winning the title and WWE billing this as Jinder's rematch

 

Survivor Series means nothing anymore and I wish they'd get rid of it. Make it King of the Ring or something.

 

I would argue King of the Ring means even less

Not to mention Charlotte could win the womens title at Survivor Series or before and this is the rematch.

New Day/Usos still going by then isnt a great sign though for them having any idea for Breezango's attackers

 

I will never doubt the "card subject to change" after a crushing disappointment from summer 2005 when a Raw house show advertised Shawn Michaels v. Kurt Angle in the main all the way up until bell time, and instead we got Eugene v. Kurt Angle and Edge v. Shawn Michaels. If one of the two were unable to appear, I would've understood, but that the fuck?

 

More referring to the prize being a concrete shoes gimmick and the very concept of that guaranteeing a heel wins

Edge vs HBK still sounds like a win

 

Im also assuming this is like an MSG show, in that its a big deal but wont be aired. Because airing a Smackdown PPV 6 days after SS and like 3 weeks before Clash of Champions would make for some weird story angles

 

It was great, but Angle/HBK had been really hyped. The ads on TV marketed it as their only ever non-televised match or something similar, and it was actually the only match advertised for the entire show.

 

It's definitely about Vince's confidence in the guy. Look at what happened with MITB. I'd love to see Haitch booking this shit.

 

Last years wasnt actually a bad attempt at making it matter; they just did a shit job of booking it that way.

It's a real bummer that they had the tag teams and women go over first and make the "main event" SS match pointless. Brock/Goldberg kinda made up for that mess.

 

I am a massive sucker for elimination matches and will stan survivor series forever for that reason

 

King of the Ring should be something like Summerslam's equivalent of the Royal Rumble, a #1 contender tourney for Summerslam main with 4 from each show

 

King of the Ring should be akin to G1. It's so easy to book. Vince just hates that guys have to eat pins.

 

I wouldn't mind if they did KOTR in NXT and the winner would get called up to the main roster

 

that would be v cool and would give NXT something to do Rumble weekend
