Gunther/McAfee is such a weird choice. Who benefits from that in any way?

Logan v Jey makes sense...give Jey an easy win off a heat magnet, and people will blame Logan when the match blows

Two of the matches announced so far for backlash being Pat v Gunther and Jey v Logan makes it very hard to be interested in Backlash.

 

Even Randy v Cena; the first 5 mins of aura will be fun...and then its two dudes who absolutely cannot carry a match.

I assume its a 6-match card since that Pat/Gunther thing will be a squash, but, man do they need Seth/Sami or something like that to have a strong match

 

am i the only one kinda annoyed at the crowds as of late? Like, they're literally just cheering, singing, chanting for every wrestler regardless of what they do and what not. I'm not talking about old school, anti wwe random cm punk chants as a way for the fans to say they're bored or being funny.

Like, they're cheering for Rollins, sami, bron, Heyman, roman, punk...etc singing all the songs. Rollins comes out yay. Sami comes out yay. Rollins kills sami yay. Sami is defiant and says fuxk you Rollins yay. If a match goes 15 minutes, cue "this is awesome". Now we get "one more time" for all the attacks. 'We want tables" for literally any weapons match.

It just comes off like they don't care what's happening lol the crowd is just there to do the "crowd participation greatest hits" . It's annoying.

 

Are they booking Sami to win his first world title at some point ? That’ll be one of my all time favorite moments

 

That’s pretty much WWE’s goal these days. It’s all about getting the crowd to sing and do whatever chant as much as they possibly can.

 

With more discussion happening around how ridiculous WWE live event prices are this is really smart by AEW

 

Yep. The $20 aren’t even bad considering they are running a smaller venue here too. I paid $68 before fees for a good 100 level ticket to Summer Blockbuster. That would probably be a nosebleed for WWE if I was lucky lol

 

68 probably doesn’t even get you in the building anymore in WWE I bet

 

looks like $49 will get you into raw in tulsa in early june lol

 

front row hard cam resale tickets are listed for $2300, yucky

 

Our Dynamite/Collision tickets for next week were $39/$64 each. Paid a little extra for Collision so we could be front row balcony.

 

I also could not stand a WWE TV taping filled with promos/commericals especially a smackdown taping. Give me the four hours of straight wrestling during an AEW TV taping over the stalling and dead time.

 

I’m really excited to see the set up at the Masonic

Funny timing with jazzwares dropping these right as Malakai goes back to WWE, but man this set is nice.
