Also I believe that shouldn’t be an indictment on Stratton, I truly believe she was put in a position to fail

I agree actually. Especially compared to so much crap at mania this year.

    Domo ratings (rating emphasize story and build too);

Iyo; 4.75 (only cause I'm stubborn)
    Rollins; 4.0
    Ic 4 way; 3.75
    Fatu; 3.25
    Gunther/uso; 3.0
    Becky tag; 3.0
    Tiffy; 2.75
    Jade; 2.5
    Mcintyre; 2.25
    Logan Paul, 2.0
    Main event; 1.5
    New day; 1.0

Orton segment; 5.0 (best part of weekend)

That’s disrespectful to McIntyre lol cmon dude. Him and Priest busted ass in that match and gave us a slobber knocker

No build, no stakes, and just a very typical hardcore match . Forgetful in every way. I hoped they would at least throw in some Vegas themed weapons or something.

The only thing it accomplished was saying "okay Priest needs a retooling" and the wwe acknowledging he's peaked as his current self.

No build? It’s been slowly bubbling away for nearly a year!

Two big meaty men hitting each other hard and looking like they mean it. My kinda shit.

No build anyone cares about*. I thought it was agreed that this was a bland spot for mcintyre after the year they had. I think 2.25 is more than fair. It was fine but this could have been on any smackdown ever.

i can't name one street fight that played out like that, it was like an elevated squash. like a Goldberg/Lesnar sprint for two guys that can actually work

that said i genuinely care about domos ratings at least twice as much as Meltzers and he prob thought about them more

Cant really disagree with any of this, though I thought the actual match was better than basically everything you have ranked above it until the IC 4-way. Well worked, fairly brutal as non-blood WWE matches go, put Drew over strong still.

Though, Drew also worked an elevated squash last year vs Seth and its really hard to argue he's better off right now than he was then. So, we'll see what they do with him going forward

I am sad Drew didnt go to AEW though. Would have been a perfect dude to just come in and wreck Mox...let him hold the belt til Ospreay takes it at All In. And then he could hold down a role sorta like Okada and MJF have, basically top guys frequently working the upper mid-card, having banger PPV matches, but doing more storytelling in between. He's been doing awesome at that in WWE but gotten lost because of Punk/Cody/etc

yeah i thought Drew was in a better spot last year (Priest obviously). He's for sure on the outside right now and it just feels like he's being left behind. I think they DO like him but he's been the fall guy for a while. I think this is what made me not care about the angle at all. It was a BIG step down for these guys.

My ratings are 100% more so about "moment" and "story" vs the actual match of course. If I was at a house show and it was just about best worked match, of course Priest and Drew was more than solid. I'm not gonnna say Jade and Naomi had a better "match", but i think it accomplished what it should accomplish. Naomi as a heel is cool to see and it was a stepping stone match for Jade. Did she sink or swim? Probably neither but it's a fairly new person on the beginning of a major push. And the super power slam thing Jade did was neat.

like i can see Drew being the fall guy for Jey Uso next or something. It's too bad because i for sure think he's a top guy.

People forget Drew had a pretty great PWG run In Reseda after he was released. He can and has hung with the AEW style before

They built the feud well, had a legit grievance with eachother & the match was what it needed to be, the problem was nobody cares about Damian Priest.

Honestly I could see him joining Seth and Bron. With the draft coming up it’d make sense with Drew’s history with Punk and Roman

    Oh and I forgot one

    Grande americano; 3.0 rating

I was really disappointed Rey got hurt because it felt like a solid wrestlemania mid card match with him involved. Love the Americano gimmick and the match was still good but a recently debuting Fenix....a tough spot for him. Still good but for sure it lost some oomf without mysterio
