Kinda like when ex WWE wrestlers first showed up in AEW in the early years and only seemed to feud with other ex WWE guys

punk's first program was darby
miro's first feud was with best friends
cole's first feud was jungle boy
joe's first feud was jay lethal
black's first feud was cody, though they didn't actually overlap in wwe

 

Maybe not full on feuds but like first couple matches I seem to recall. Idk this was years ago and I don’t really remember. It’s also not a complaint so much as it is an observation. I have no problems with either promotion doing it, I think it’s kind of fun because it’s like a wink to the past

 

Cena vs rusev? Are you having a fun Tuesday night or something? If they have an interaction on some raw I'll eat my hat let alone main event a ppv

 

If Becky has her same stupid theme as a heel I’m gonna lose it

 

It probably won’t happen but rusev is one of cena’s best feuds ever

 

"On the Way of the Blade podcast, Tony Khan & podcast host Phil Schneider announced that AEW would co-produce two tribute shows in honor of Dean Rasmussen from the DVDVR website, who passed away in 2023. You guys are crazy lol she literally just won the title and got featured in a top feud last year at wrestlemania. She got her own stable and had a consistent spot on the product for years.

As of a month ago I figured she had no shot at mania this year since she wasn't involved in anything. They tried to shoe horn her in a whatever tag match and someone in creative came up with this angle instead (which sounds way more interesting than what they initially announced)

Unless Bayley is bored and wants to just do something different....there's no shot she would leave the wwe

Well I guess like I said. Unless she's bored or in this case feels like she plateaued...in that case maybe she would enjoy trying aew... but I just listened to her whole interview. She's clearly respected. She clearly gets a ton of featured spots. No, she hasn't gotten to top top top level but she's not buried.

And we will see. If they turn all of this into some angle and it leads to bayley vs becky...that's awesome.

I think it's a bummer that she was left of the card, but the rumor is that she was aware of this weeks in advance, so it wasn't just sprung on her last minute. I also think that if it leads to a big summer program with Becky, it's likely to get a whole lot of TV time and high billing on at least one PLE and that's a pretty good consolation prize for missing a meaningless tag match at Wrestlemania.

 

I hope AEW gets going again over the buildup to All-In. I’ve been kinda bored with their stuff lately. I think we need a fresh slate of champions.

Mox’s current run just isn’t hitting for a lot of people.

And they have too many midcard belts. I remember reading something about them combining the Continental and International belts which makes sense. And it’d give us Omega v Okada again.

The company has so many guys that are awesome to watch. The product just feels stale and has for several months for me.

I have a weird relationship with aew, it was plenty of talent I love and the matches are killer but the way TK books stories it just doesn’t do it for me. It’s weird
