I know I’m not a kid, but Jey does nothing for me. Annoying ass catchphrase, slightly above average in the ring and just feels forced.

 

Also the thing about having two or in AEW's case three Heavyweight titles is that none of them can be the most prestigious, kinda hate the title bloat across the three major promotions

Theres no tangible way for Jey to beat Gunther and for it to be believable but that was like THE most non-believable way for him to win lol

 

I feel like they waited too long. I was on board and still thinks he deserves it in general but this was bland as hell

 

Even above average is pretty nice, he's undoubtedly over but probably the worst wrestler to hold a major title in the WWE since Jinder?

I like Jey, but wasn’t a fan of that ending. Sami had to pull out something brutal to put Gunther down last year, but a few splashes and a sleeper leading to a quick tap out is kinda unsatisfactory

 

it was a week reign but Miz did win the title during the pandemic.

 

Most reigns have been a dud in WWE recently. Cody has has the most generic ass reign the last year. Hoping losing it to Cena actually does something for the title.
