it's kind of the curse of two nights some times - this year they could've had an all timer with one night.

night one under card was dog shit and the main event was a classic and last night we had some great undercard matches and a disastrous main event.

 

also what really hampered the main event last night beyond just the shenanigans and whatnot is that Cena just looks old and slow in the ring.

 

Yup, and it wasn’t really talked about but it was really awesome to see Penta kind of get his flowers with that entrance he got. It was pretty cool

Apparently the one incident from the WM Roast was Gabriel Iglesias (Fluffy) was legit pissed and wanted to fight Paul Heyman over something he said. I haven't heard what it was but I can only assume based on Heyman's dogshit deportation joke today.

Weird how much they advertised it just to decide to never air it.

 

The crowd genuinely getting behind Dom was fun - loved seeing him come out with the Rey Sr. mask, makes me think that Rey was supposed to have something similar.

I haven’t forgotten when Heyman used the Aaron Bushnell Gaza protest for heat, quote tweeted someone boasting that WWE was “trending hire (OG tweet spelling)” than “the libtard who set himself on fire” to joke that he, the Rock, Solo, and Roman “set the ratings, the box office, and the WWE Universe on fire” every time they appear.

Paul Heyman is one of the greatest onscreen wrestling characters of all time, but he’s a piece of shit and it’s been known forever.

 

Never forget Heyman made Candido and Tammy work in the ECW backoffice as punishment for their drug use in 2000 only to make them use their own money as the promotion's budget on credit and then never paid them back. Exploited them and basically ruined their lives, and probably contributed to sending them down the tragic path they both went down.

 

We haven't had a good Raw After Mania in awhile. Hopefully this breaks the streak but not optimistic.

A kid at work today did the Jey Uso YEET in excitement that his mom was here to pick him up and I swear I've never softened so quickly on a wrestler in my life. Yeet Man is truly for the children.

Even he thought the Mania match finish was kinda weird though.
