I thought about collecting the aew cards but I never see them in stores

 

Yeah they are just at hobby shops now - target used to carry a ton of AEW figures and cards but I think only I bought them

I have a shit ton of AEW cards if you want some lol

 

I am intrigued - if you box them up I can probably handle shipping with some help from work

Just need box dimensions and weight and I can email you a scan

I have a decent amount of AEW cards. Haven’t picked any up in the last 2 years. All I see in stores is that Allure set now

 

The only cards I ever got were the packs included in my Uno and Eddie figs. Only kept Chucky T and Arn Anderson.

there aint been a day since i started watching shortly before his early 00s neck injury that Edge hasnt been an all time fav and im still pumped i got to see him on a good night w a big moment.

funny related tangent: i am from Albany and the only ppv we got since 03 was the NYR where Edge first cashed in won the title. i didnt get to go because i was perpetually grounded, and this time it was either for looking up one of the wwe Playboy shoots or Lita boob pics.

 

Almost halfway through the year, and this is how my MOTY list is looking so far:

cold as FUCK in there.
okada/take is my match of the year so far.
ospreay/joe was art.
stampede was fun as hell (bus spot happened live)

shit part was the 7 train stop closed completely after the show. took me 30 mins to just get out of the arena, another 40 to walk around the train yard to the next 7 line stop.

overall worth flying day of for the show and back home the next morning.

 

i had the best bunch of dudes in front of me. all decked out with belts and loud all night but playing along. i kept waiting for the first chauvinist comment etc but it never came and they were prob the noisiest around me for Mina/Athena. to the left and back of me were well-mannered introverts. i always get the meme chant marks and leave hating life. was awesome

 

one last anecdote, the guys near me were explicitly camped out for black excellence and the guy w the aisle kept dancing and doing "whose house". guy four guys back yells "sit your tall ass down", swerve guy points back and says "you right" and sits down. we may still yet be a society
