excited to watch the replay tomorrow. this was my first aew show, it's just an entirely different sport than the wwe and even nxt events i've been to, the matches just operate at an entirely different pace. you can obviously pick that up on tv, but live it's magnitudes more apparent.

Yup, that's why I posted WILL THERE BE BLOOD right before Mox vs KOR because as much as I expected there to be blood.....I knew NY is like that. I forget what other PPV and where it was at that there was zero blood due to the same reason. They always feel off because there's obviously spots and certain wrestlers that are just known for the blood lol and when there isn't any........meh.

 

God damn, Stadium Stampede was a blast.

Also, the original Kenny/Mox lights out match had the MD State commission investigating them and fining them for barbed wire:
AEW broke the rules and was fined $10K

Absolutely hilarious that that nonsense exists. Though in this case, it worked in their favor. Ricochet works soooo much better in these comedy-adjacent matches, and I think a bloodbath with Team Jericho being so stacked wouldnt have worked.

 

Yeah these are right! Missouri was WrestleDream with the Mox/Darby I Quit match with no blood but Darby got drowned in the fish tank LOL.

Funny how both of these are Mox matches......kinda like it's a given to expect blood in his matches......

 

Brian Cage is fucking enormous. Republic Of Lucha’s show was a blast and my kid got to hop in the ring and bounce around on the ropes as they were letting people in. What a great day.

But seriously, as the results show, this was the most predictable show ever.

hat tip for you guys if they run ashe or armstrong again, but the event staff/security was pretty lenient about moving around. they were mostly really young kids or older folks; they were hired to handle tennis crowds, not wrestling crowds. i never had my ticket checked again after i got through the gate. in theory i coulda bought the cheapest seat in the building and just hung around the last row on the first level(if you dont give a shit about standing, which didnt bother me since it was kinda cold)
