The weirdest thing about "AEW is dead" speculation to me will always be the people who are actively cheering for it to happen. Whether or not it's your cup of tea AEW existing has done wonders for wrestling as a whole. Wanting a company as evil as WWE to "defeat" them because of some weird ass loyalty will never not be bizarre to me. And I say that as someone whose favorite wrestler left AEW for WWE. When AEW succeeds wrestling as a whole succeeds.
